We start off with the beginning song, "Change The World." After the song finishes, we arrive at a view with blue mountains and its cloudy. Then we see faces of some villagers, frightened, yelling out the name, "Inuyasha!" A teenage-boy with dog-like ears comes out from some trees, and cuts the net that was holding him with his claws. He has white hair and wears a red Hiari. There’s a grin on his face. He keeps jumping to a direction, and arrows are thrown at him by the villagers. But they miss, he dodges each one of them then breaks into a hut by the roof. He’s makes his way into the hut, and then you see a picture of a glowing crystal ball, that’s small, shining called the Shikon No Tama. He grabs it, knocking down everything. The door to the hut was opened as he turned around, it was the villagers from earlier. They throw more daggers at him, but miss again as he dodges each and every one of them. He jumps up, making a hole on the roof, and escapes. The whole hut explodes! Then you see him up in the air, holding the Shikon No Tama and says, "Finally, a way for me to become all demon at last." Then he runs to the forest, where the scene changes to a woman, who wears a white shirt, and red baggy pants. She is a miko. She’s holding a bow and arrow, aiming the arrow at Inuyasha, the background is all white, shining like the sun, and she yells, "Inuyasha!" (So we can imagine that this boy name is Inuyasha.) She shoots the arrow, then you see Inuyasha running and behind him is a tree, the arrows gets him! It pears him on his left shoulder, pinning him to the tree, causing him to let go of the Shikon No Tama. He tries to get it but he wasn’t able to, and the Shikon No Tama lands on the ground. Then the woman from earlier appears again, holding the bow firmly, and she has a serious face. The wind blows on her hair, and she is still in the same position, the scene slowly moves to where Inuyasha was pinned to. He starts to get weak and loses his voice as he says, "Ki..Kikyo.. How could.. I thought…" Then he loses his voice completely, and blacks out. So by now, we figure out that the woman name is Kikyo. Kikyo, starts to walk slowly to where the Shikon No Tama landed. She is struggling while she walks. There’s blood, behind her. Drips of blood, so you can tell that it was she who was wounded. She kneels down to take hold of the Shikon No Tama. The villagers from before surround her, and a little girl appears with one of her eyes covered, she says, "Big sister" and kneels down next to her. One of the villagers say, "Lady Kikyo. That wound.." and he was cut off, as the little girl, knowing that’s her little sister by now, says, "You’re hurt really badly." Kikyo responds with, "I forgot who I…and now see what.." she picks up the Shikon No Tama, she’s shaking, as she stares at it, "All for this…The sacred Jewel which…" Then she lets out a little wince in pain. The younger sister says, "You’re in pain…let someone.." Then Kikyo replies with, "I won’t live much longer, and so I give this to you." She held out the Shikon No Tama to her younger sister and says, "The Shikon No Tama, which you must burn with my body. It must not fall into the hands with those who will abuse it." She holds the Shikon No Tama tighter. She lets out one more wince of pain, then falls to her side, as you hear the echo of her younger sister say, "Sister Kikyo!!" Now you see Kikyo, her eyes closed, as her body is being burned. Flames of fire surround her as she holds the Shikon No Tama in the middle. You hear her voice saying, "I shall take it with me to the other world." Now you see more mountains, with little clouds. We arrive with a girl inside a shrine with an old man in front of her as they both sit down on the floor. The girl is holding a key chain, with a small circle in the end, just like the ball (Shikon No Tama) in the beginning. She says, "Shikon No-What?" as she looks at it, with a weird expression on her face. The old man replies with, "Shikon No Tama, my girl. The Jewel of Four Souls." "You don’t actually think tourists are going to buy these dumb key chains. Do you?" The old man glares at her, holding a key chain as well, but with a different color. "That is not just a key chain. That crystal there at the end is a replica of an ancient jewel which.." He had stopped as he heard the key chain being jiggled by a cat’s paw. The cat was playing with the key chain that the girl was holding. She moves it a little more, and the cat keeps playing with it. She looks at the old man again. He keeps glaring at her and then clears his throat, closing his eyes as he speaks. "As I was saying, that crystal is a replica of an ancient jewel which.." He stops again, as he sees the girl moving the Key chain again, and the cat playing with again. He continues and points to the key chain he was holding, "An Ancient Jewel which.." and he was interrupted as the girl gets excited and says, "You do remember its my birthday tomorrow, right?" And Anime Sweat drop appears on his head. He laughs and says, "I planned to wait another day but…" "So you did get me something! Hand it over!" Then, her eyes grew bigger then usual, as she held a weird thingy in her hand. It was a leg or hand or paw of something green. She just stared at it. The old man says, "That my dear is an authentic mummified hand of a water imp." She gives the hand thingy to the cat and says, "Here Buyo, eat." So we already learned the cats name, with me so far? The cat gladly agrees and takes it with his mouth. The old man screams and falls down, trying to get it back from Buyo who already started walking away and says, "That’s an antique!" Now the girl is speaking in her head as she says, "Replica this, authentic that, here’s everything got a story." The scene changes to the old man eating now, they are inside a house. He was about to eat a small yellow pickle (looks more like a French fry to me.) and says, "Why these pickles are full of history." Then the girl from earlier is sitting in front of him, eating rice with her chop sticks, while a little boy, who we assume is her brother and her mother holding a tray, passing out the water. She says, "Not as half as full as you are." Then later at night, we arrive at a picture with another small shrine, and two light poles on the side, you can hear the girls voice again as she speaks, "The thousand year old sacred tree, legend of the hidden well. I’ve heard these stories all my life. And I never believed a word of it, that is until today, my 15th birthday." Then its morning again. The girl from yesterday comes out of her house, tapping her feet before leaving, and says, "I’m leaving!" She starts to run, until she stops and says, "Hey…what are you.." it turns out the person she was talking to was her little brother. He was standing by the entrance to that small shrine from last night. He has a plate of food in his hand as he turns around to look at his sister, "Nothing.." She walks up to him, dropping her book bag and says, "You‘re not suppose to play in there." "I’m not, it’s the cat." "Did he go down to the well?" They both go inside the shrine, not going down the steps next to the well, they stayed where it was safe. Her little brother started to call out the name of the cat, "Buyo." He kneeled down on the floor and says, "I don’t know where else he can be.." Then the girl also kneeled down next to him, saying, "So? Go down." "But why do I got to be the one?" he asks, as he looks down the stairs at the dark place. "Because you’re the one that’s looking for him," she replies, as she has the palm of her hand on her chin, and the elbow of that same hand, on her knee as she also looks down at the dark place. Then, there’s a little moment of silence, but its broken when you hear a noise. The noise is almost like someone scraping wood with a knife, but not hard. Her brother gets scared, and gets up, running behind his sister, placing both his small hands on her shoulder as he kept looking down and yells, "Something’s down there!" The girl looks behind her to face her brother and says, "Ugh…yea, that cat." She stands up and lets out a sigh. She slowly starts to walk down the stairs, as her brother stays behind watches. You could hear that same sound again from earlier. She stops half-way the stairs, as she studies the well and thinks to herself, "That sound…from inside the well." Then out of no where, another sound, but a rough one, the sound like a person slamming a car door, comes. She snaps out of her thoughts and lets out a screech. Her brother gets scared, and falls down backwards, losing his balance. He looks down and says, "Buyo." You can see the cat, rubbing its fur on his sister’s leg, with a smile on its face. She bends down to pick Buyo up, and looks at Buyo. She’s a few feet inches away from the well. "You make fun of me ‘cause I’m scared and then you’re all ‘Bahh ahh!’" her brother says. "She turns around to face him after picking the cat up and still holding Buyo in her hands, "Look whose talking Mr.Why-do-I-have-to-go." She looks at her brother with a serious face. He stops looking at her, and looks behind her, where the well stood. He gets up quickly and says, "Sis, behind you!" There was a seal on the well, to keep it close. But the seal was broken and the next thing you know, there was a light bluish ghastly thing surrounding the girl and the well. The girl stays there, holding the cat, too scared to move or anything, as if she were force to stay there. The ghastly bluish thing appears a little darker, and hands appear. The hands grab the girl by her shoulder, pulling her in the well, making her drop the cat. As she is being pulled down, she reaches out a hand as if for someone to grab it. Her little brother was still on the top of the stairs as this all occurred and the cat ran to him. He yells, "What’s going on?" The hand that had pulled down appeared to be a woman, but not an ordinary woman. A demon woman. She was a centipede. She had a total of 6 arms. One of her hand forced the girl to turn and look at her. The girl gasped as she saw this creature in front of her. The demon centipede woman speaks, "Alive…Bold to be alive once more…" she says as she holds both of the girls cheek with her hands. (Okay, I’m getting a little tired writing word to word what happens, guys.) Her body was long, just like a centipede, but there were only bones and no flesh. As she hold the girl, her flesh returned to her. The bones were replaced with Flesh. By now, the girl was struggling, and the centipede asked, "You have it? Don’t you? Give it to me," she commanded as she licked the girls cheek with her long tongue that stretched out. Of course by now, the girl was freaked out! She demanded, "What are you doing?! Let gooo!!" and put her left hand on the centipede’s face, as an aura (or spiritual ball thingy) appeared ‘causing the centipede to be pulled back. Though, the centipede was holding the girl’s arm with one of her arms. As she was being pulled back, the centipede’s arm was detached from her body and still holding on to the girl’s arm. Before the centipede disappeared, she spoke, "I must have the Sacred Jewel!" There was a glowing ball shining in the girl’s body as she was going downer. "The Sacred Jewel..?" She looked confused. She made it down to the bottom of the well, safely. "I guess I must have fallen in the well.." She said as she looked up at the exit of the well. She thought to herself as she held her left arm with her right, "Maybe I bumped my head or…" she stopped to look at the Centipede’s arm that was on the ground of the well, "Maybe not. Either way…." She stood up, looking at the exit of the well. "Hey Souta!" (By now, we figure the person she is calling "Souta" is probably her little brother.) "Get grandpa!" She yelled. No answer. She decided to climb the well by using the vines that were hanging down from the exit of it. As she climbed, she buttered to herself, "He probably took off…little..," a butterfly passed her. She finally had reach the top of the well, and sighed in release. She looked around her, which she was only surrounded by trees, and grass, clouds, humming birds and more. She thought to herself, "I could be wrong but Jo jo, don’t think we’re in Tokyo anymore." She called out for her family members as she looked around and started to walk. She was beginning to get worried, until she saw the tree that was in her home that her family took care of. She ran to it, expecting to find home, but what she expected wasn’t the first thing in her list. She stopped running and walked slowly now to the tree. "Is that a boy?" she asked herself, as she saw a figure of a boy, the same age as her probably or maybe even a little older, with white hair, dog-like ears (that makes you want to touch them!), wearing a red Haori, with an arrow pinned under his left shoulder to the tree, vines keeping him there, sleeping. The girl jumped up the big roots of the tree, going closer to the boy. "Hey there, whatchu’ doin’?" She got closer and went to touch his ears, but didn’t, and thought, "Oh wow…like dog ears.." she looked at the boy, and made sure that he wouldn’t wake up and kept thinking to herself, "I think I wanna…touch ‘em." And that’s what she did. ‘Tweak, tweak.’ She sighed after touching them, "Now that that’s out of my system.." Then you see villagers with bows and arrows, aiming the arrows at the girl, "Get away from there!" They shot the arrows, making a form of arrows surrounding her as she went closer to the boy who was sleeping, as if protecting herself. She let out a little scream, "Huh?" and looked at the villagers who started to run her way. Before you knew it, she was tied up in the middle of a village. All the villagers from the village, formed a crowd, a wide spread crowd as they kept whispering to each other. As she watched what was going on, she thought to herself, "Top-knot, Top-knot, top-knot, top-knot. What is this? The Japan of Mid-evil times?" The villagers seemed to move, making a path for an old lady as they called her, "High-priestess Kaede." She had a black path covering her right eye, as she held a bow in her right hand, and her left hand behind her. She walked to the girl tied up, and pulled out a bag. She threw hair some salt or what? On the girl and said, "Demon be gone!" The girl tried to shake it off, "HEY! I’m not a demon, ok?!" "Are ye’ not? Then why were you found in the forest of InuYasha?" The girl just looked at Kaede with a mad face. Kaede walked more closer to the girl and said, "Let me have a good look at ye." She examined her. "Its there, though I know not why." It had change over night, and you can see Kaede cooking, she served the girl some stew that looked pretty good, and the girl gladly ate it. "There is no ill in you child. For though I now see that ye mean us no harm. In these trouble times of war, no stranger maybe welcomed among us without deep distrust," Kaede said. "We really aren’t in Tokyo anymore, are we?" the girl asked. "To..ky…o…never heard of it, is that where your people are from?" "Uh…yea, so I should get going." and she said to herself, "Though I have no idea how to get back of course." The old lady has a flashback, as she sees the girl drink the stew. She has a flashback of when Kikyo (remember her in the beginning?) and the small sister with the bandage covering her eye, as Kikyo was bleeding and holding the Shikon No Tama in her hands, giving it to her younger sister. Kikyo says, as she struggles, "Take the Jewel Kaede and see that it is burned with my body." So by now we know that the younger girl from before was the old lady now name Kaede. Now we return back to the girl and the OLD Kaede, as she thinks to herself, "50 years have past since then…" The same centipede from before comes back to the same village the girl is in, and destroys every hut there. Both Kaede and the girl come out of where they were, to see what was all that ruckus. The centipede focuses her eyes on the girl and says, "Give me the sacred Jewel!" "It said Sacred Jewel…do ye have still?" Kaede asked. The girl looked at Kaede and said, "I have no idea, I mean I heard of the Jewel but I.." The villagers shoot arrows at the centipede but miss. The girl decides the best thing to do is to run to Inuyasha's Forest. She yells, "Mom! Please! Who ever you are, somebody help me!" Inuyasha awakens, as he senses the blood of the woman who killed him. He couldn't move because he still had the arrow which sealed him from moving. She runs up a hill, the centipede still following, yelling, "Give it to me!" She keeps running, running out of breath as well, "I told you...I don't have it!" The girl runs to where InuYasha was at, she trips and lands infront of him, not knowing that he was awakened. "Hello, Kikyo. Playing with bugs now are we?" He said in a sarcastic tone. She thinks to herself, as she looks up at him, "Did he just talk?" She gets up, and looks at him, "So you're alive?" "Why you taking so long to kill it? Just do her like you did me." He pauses for a while, as he looks at the girl, "You look pretty dumb there, Kikyo. The Kikyo I know wouldn't waste her time." "That does it. Kikyo, Kikyo! Whoever she is, she's not me because my name is..." "She's here." The centipede comes out of the tree, landing infront of the girl, as the villagers shoow more daggers at the centipede, making the centipede stop. They try all together to pull the centipede away from her. "You're pathetic, Kikyo," Inuyasha smirks."I'm not Kikyo!" She replies, getting angry. "Look, I'm telling you! I'm not her! Whoever 'her' is!" She says as she walks upper, to look at Inuyasha face to face. "And I'm saying, you got to be her! 'Cause if you're not there's no way that you could smell so.." He stops on what he's about to say and sniffs her, "You're not her." "I know. My name is Kagome. Ka-go-me!" "You're right... Kikyo was cuter... much cuter..." Now we know that the girl name is Kagome. Kagome thinks to herself, "Would you...!" As she looks at him, like my gosh! The centipede comes and pulls Kagome to her. Kagome quickly grabs on to Inuyasha's hair, screaming, "AHhhhh!!! Let go of me!!" Inuyasha also screams, "Ow ow ow!! You let go!!" By now, the villagers noticed that Inuyasha was revived, and they tell Kaede. Kaede is surprise. Kaede says to herself, "How can that be?! The seal should have held forever!" The centipede is still grabbing Kagome, telling her to give her the Sacred Jewel. Inuyasha quickly thinks, "The Sacred Jewel?" The centipede grows teeth, about to bite Kagome. Kagome gets really scared, and puts her left hand on the way, and says, "Stop it!" Her hand glows and reflects the centipede for a while, making Kagome loose her balance and falling to the ground. "Hey... I did that before too...in the well. But how'd I do it though?" She says. Then, a circle is glowing inside her body, and she gasps, "Whats happening now?!"The centipede bites the glowing thing out of Kagome's body, which it ended up being the Sacred Jewel. Kagome gasped again, not knowing how'd that get in there. She falls again on the floor, the Sacred Jewel next to her. Inuyasha demans for Kagome to give him the Jewel and quick, and also to let him free if she didnt want her to die from the centipede. So Kagome lets him free from the seal, which then everybody is surprised because no one should have been able to take it out. The centipede swallows the Jewel, making her more stronger, (not to mention more uglier lol.) and she goes to attack them. InuYasha quickly destroys the centipede, making her blow up into pieces! Since the Jewel was still inside one of the parts from her body, she was still wiggling. Kaede tells Kagome to hurry and find the Sacred Jewel, since she is the only one who can see it. Kagome looks and spots it! She points to a piece of the centipede's body, and Kaede takes it out causing the centipede to die completely. Kaede gives the Jewel to Kagome, and Kagome gets more confused. Kaede says, "Only ye' hold the Sacred Jewel. Ye' who so resembles the dead Kikyo." "But why would I have a Jewel wanted by demons?" Kagome asks to herself. "Exactly! Humans cant use it, so why bother having it? If you give me the Jewel, I won't have to start sharpening my claws on you," InuYasha says.Kagome's shocked! She thinks to herself, What? WHAT?! He's not the hero?! And it ends. Back To Top Written by XxshadowxX97@aol.com The villagers are closing in around Inuyasha. He looks around, slightly amused. Kaede tells Kagome that she can't give him the Shikon No Tama. Inuyasha Started running towards Kagome and Kagome runs away. Kagome trips over the bones of the centipede demon, which turns out to be a good thing because because of the fall, Inuyasha missed her head when he slashed at her with his claws. Kagome is surprised that Inuyasha actually tried to kill her. The villagers shoot arrows at Inuyasha but he just breaks them. He runs forward and with his claws, cuts down two trees, causing them to fall on the villagers. Kaede takes a necklace of black beads and some white (shells or teeth?). Kagome runs with Inuyasha right behind her. He lunges at her with his claws and misses again, but causes Kagome to fall forward. She drops the jewel and it rolls a little bit away. then necklace is glowing purple and Floating in front of Kaede as she's chanting something. It disappears and reappears around Inuyasha's neck. Kaede yells at Kagome to utter a word to subdue Inuyasha. Kagome crawls forward and grabs the jewel, not knowing what Kaede is talking about. She runs forward and the ground breaks up under her. She falls down and drops the jewel. It rolls onto a rope bridge. Kagome wonders what she has to say to restrain Inuyasha as Inuyasha lands on the bridge. The jewel rolls towards him and he prepares to pick it up. Suddenly, his ears prick up and Kagome yells "SIT!" The necklace glows purple and Inuyasha's face gets crushed into the bridge. Kagome steps forward onto the bridge and Inuyasha tries to take the necklace off, but he can't. Kaede tells him that he can't remove it. Inuyasha threatens Kaede and Kagome says, "Sit" Inuyasha gets crushed into the bridge, but this time it doesn't hold and he falls into the river below. The villagers are rebuilding the village. Inside Kaede's hut, Kaede is tending to Kagome's wound. Kaede tells her that it's going to be a problem that the Shikon jewel came back. Demons and people with evil in their hearts will come after it. Kagome looks to the side and sees Inuyasha, lying with his back to her. He wants her to hand over the Shikon jewel, but knows he can't attack her since she can just say "sit" and he'll get hurt. Kagome asks him why he wants it since he's already strong he doesn't need to borrow the power of the jewel. Kaede tells Kagome that it's because he's a half-demon. At this, Inuyasha punches a hole through the floor. He's angry that Kaede is acting as if she knows him. He tells him that she's Kaede and he remembers the "little brat" that was at Kikyo's side. Kaede tells him that it's been 50 years since Kikyo sealed him to the tree. Inuyasha asks if Kikyo's an old hag like her. Kaede informs him that Kikyo died the day she sealed him with her arrow. She then goes on to say that Kagome is the reincarnation of Kikyo. The fact that she carried the Shikon jewel in her body is proof. Kagome walks through the village, Kaede's words still in her head. The villagers are talking about Kagome being the reincarnation of Kikyo. Kagome looks to the side and sees the villagers bowing to her and praying to her. She runs away. Inuyasha is sitting in a tree. He's thinking about Kikyo and how she's dead. A piece of fruit comes flying at his back and he easily catches it. Kagome is standing under the tree, laden with fruit and vegetables that the villagers have given her. She invites Inuyasha to come down so that they can eat them together. Kagome is sitting calmly, eating, while Inuyasha glares at her. She asks him why he doesn't like her. She's not Kikyo, she's Kagome! Inuyasha drops the vegetable he was eating and jumps up into his tree. She asks him to be more friendly with her. He doesn't care who she is, he wants the Shikon jewel. Kagome reminds him that she can just say, "sit" and Inuyasha falls face-first out of the tree. Kagome then say's "Sorry sorry cancel that." Then Kagome is in Kaede's hut, trying to fall asleep. She's been in the Feudal Era for two days now. She falls asleep. then there is in a tree, and a crow with three red eyes sits on the tree. It senses the Shikon jewel that is now around the sleeping Kagome's neck. Inuyasha lands in the tree and slashes at the crow demons, but they get away. Then it turns to Daytime. Kagome is headed towards Inuyasha Who is in the Forest to find the Dry Well. Since she came from there, maybe she'll be able to go back from there, too. The villagers and Kaede are looking for Kagome. Inuyasha overhears that she's not in the village. Kagome is walking through the forest. Bandits are following her. She sees the well in the clearing and is about to go there when the bandits drop down and grab her. They bring her to a run down house. The leader tells Kagome to hand over the Shikon jewel. He's in the shadows. He gets up and walks over to Kagome on wobbly legs. He draws his sword and two bandits hold Kagome in place. The boss brings his sword down, misses Kagome, and kills one of the men who was holding her in place. The rest of the bandits are horrified. He swings again, not caring whether her hits Kagome or his bandits. The bandits push Kagome forward, telling their boss that she's the one he needs to kill. Kagome points out to them that their boss is acting a little strange. Suddenly the bandits duck down and Kagome does the same just in time. The sword flies above her head. Inuyasha is running through the forest. He lands in a tree and sniffs the air. He wonders where Kagome disappeared to with the Shikon jewel. The boss is still swinging and missing. The whole house is getting destroyed. The bandits are trying to run away but the exit is blocked. Rubble falls onto one of the bandits and Kagome runs over to him and helps him out. The others run over to her and tell her that the exit is blocked. The boss is still telling Kagome to hand over the Shikon jewel. Kagome notices that wherever she goes, the bandits go too, hiding behind her. She throws the Shikon jewel away and tells the bandits to knock a hole in the wall. "Boss! It's not working!" Kagome has now become the boss. The real boss has walked over to Kagome. He holds the sword over his head and begins to bring it down on her. That's when Inuyasha bursts in through the wall and breaks the boss' sword. Kagome is happy to see him as he beats up the boss. The boss falls backwards and the bandits escape through the hole created by Inuyasha. Kagome asks Inuyasha if he came to rescue her and Inuyasha asks about the Shikon jewel and whether or not it's safe. Kagome laughs nervously. Inuyasha notices that the boss' body is giving off a rotting smell. As the boss' armor falls away, we see a hole in his chest leading to his heart. Inside the crow demon sits. It ate its way into his heart and has been sitting there, controlling his body. Inuyasha punches his hand into the hole where the man's heart was and the crow demon bursts out through the man's back while his body turns to bone. The crow demon flies out. Kagome asks Inuyasha whether or not he's going to go after it but Inuyasha isn't - that is until he sees that the crow demon takes the Shikon jewel that Kagome threw out and flies off with it. Inuyasha bursts out of the building, dragging Kagome behind him. Suddenly he stops and looks at the horses the bandits left behind. On one of the horses is a bow and arrows. He goes off with Kagome holding the bow and arrows on his back. Inuyasha is jumping from tree to tree, following the crow demon with Kagome on his back. He tells Kagome to shoot the crow down but she says it's impossible since she's never shot a bow before. Inuyasha warns her that the crow demon lives off human flesh. Just then the crow swallows the Shikon jewel. She decides to try to shoot it down. Inuyasha tells her to shoot it down with her first shot since Kikyo was a master archer. She aims and reminds him that she's not Kikyo. She lets the arrow fly...and misses miserably. Inuyasha falls and slides on his face a few feet with Kagome still on his back. She asks him if Kikyo being a master archer was a lie. The crow demon gets bigger. Inuyasha is running with Kagome on his back again. She takes aim, lets the arrow fly, and again misses. Inuyasha stops and drops Kagome off his back. "You are definitely not Kikyo's reincarnation!" Then he goes off by himself. The crow flies over the village. It picks up a child and carries him off. Inuyasha is running alongside the crow. "I'm going to slice you up along with your food!" he says and Kagome yells at him to save the child. Inuyasha slashes the crow with his claws, breaking it up into pieces. The child falls into the river but Inuyasha is looking for the Shikon jewel, not worrying about the drowning boy. Kagome pulls off her shoes and socks and dives into the river. She swims towards the child, grabs him, and swims to shore. Inuyasha yells at her from the opposite shore to find the Shikon jewel. Kagome ignores Inuyasha, shocking him. "What what was that?!" The crow demon pulls itself back together and flies out of the river. Inuyasha yells at Kagome, telling her that the dmeon is escaping. Suddenly the kid begins to yell. The demon's foot is still attacked to his back. Kagome borrows a bow from a villager. Kagome aims at the demon, the foot tied to the arrow. She lets the arrow fly and it soars straight at the demon. The arrow hits, and a bright purple light comes from it. The Shikon no Tama begins to crack and then it breaks apart. The pieces shoot all over. Sunset. Kagome and Inuyasha are looking for the jewel. A rustling is heard from the trees. The head of the crow demon is coming at them. Inuyasha slashes at it, destroying it. From the head falls a piece of the Shikon jewel. Kagome picks it up. Kagome says, "Uh-oh. I hope its not what I think it is." Inuyasha looks at her, confused and asks, "What do you think it is?" Then she replies with a nervous laughter, "I...I think its a shard of the Sacred Jewel.." Inuyasha Gets mad and yells through the whole forest, an echo, "Wh-WHAT DID YOU SAY?!" Back To Top Kagome takes a bath in a small cold lake. Inuyasha watches fromafar and she notices and tells him to sit! He falls and gets mad at her. As she changes to the clothes kaede gave her, they end up being the same clothes as Kikyo which really bothers InuYasha. He tells her to take the clothes off and she thinks the other way. So she grabs a rock and hits him with it on the head, calling him a pervert! He said he didnt mean it like that! He just couldn't stand to see her in those clothes. They argue some more and Kagome says that shes going home! He pouts and looks the other way saying, "See if I care!" So she gets mad and starts to walk to the well, from where she came out of. InuYasha tells her to wait so she can give him the shard of the Sacred Jewel. She gets mad thinking that he wanted her to stay, when he didn't so she tells him to sit! He falls, calling her stupid as she walks away. She keeps walking and says, "My name's not stupid, its Kagome!" He mutters some words and also says, "Why you..!" and she says in reply, "Its not 'you' either. Its Kagome." As she gets to the well, she thinks about how not once has he ever said her name which makes her more upset. She is attacked by a Youkai name Yura of the demon hair. Yura wants to go kill Kagome, but instead Kagome falls into the well. But Yura manages to steal the shard that Kagome had. Kagome's back home, from the Modern time. Inuyasha goes back to Kaede's village, only to find that the woman from the village are attacking both of them. InuYasha says its best if he just kills them and gets rid of them easily, but Kaede says not to. Somehow, Inuyasha manages to escape from them with Kaede hurt. He places her down, telling her to stay there and not to move so he can get Kagome that had the shard as he thought, that he'll come back for her if he remembers. Kaede makes him promise her not to forget where he left her and he says Yeah whatever. He runs off to find Kagome. Kagome's at her time, taking a bath, sighing happily. She says, "Uh...I must be in heaven." Yura, is still next to the well, making hair strings into the well, she laughs evily and says, "Little girl, come out come out wherever you are." Then the scene changed to Kagome again, washing her hair, "Ahh...Shampoo, its a good thing." And it ends! Back To Top Written by XxshadowxX97@aol.com Kagome's mom is talking to her grandfather, wondering if they can believe Kagome's story. Souta insists it's real since he saw a monster come out of the well and kidnap Kagome. Kagome's grandfather thinks of the history of the well and then decides that he has to do something. He nails the well shut and puts scrolls all over it. Kagome is drying her hair when her grandfather tells her that he's sealed the well. Her grandfather tells her that the well will never be opened again. Kagome looks slightly worried. Inuyasha is running through the forest in the middle of the night. He stops and sniffs the ground. He recognizes Kagome's smell. Then he stands up and walks over to the well. He kneels down next to Kagome's clothing. Then he jumps into the well. Kagome is lying on her bed, very happy to be home. She begins remembering things about the Feudal Age. She wonders about Yura. She begins to worry about Inuyasha and what he will think when he finds out that she lost the jewel shard. And then she remembers that Inuyasha doesn't want or need her around. She decides that she's going to forget everything since she's never going to go back anyway. Then her mom calls to her from downstairs. A friend of hers is on the phone. And also, they're ready to eat. Souta is asking his grandfather whether or not he's sure that the well is shut down forever. Grandpa is very sure since he sealed it with magic scrolls. Kagome comes over and is very excited to see that they have for dinner. Her grandfather tries to talk to her but can't get past her Footsteps sound from outside. We see a pair of feet and red clothing. The door slides open and behind Kagome (whose mouth is full of food) stands Inuyasha. Everyone stares at him, speechless. Kagome asks him where he came from and he tells her the well. Grandpa tells him it's a lie since he sealed the well. According to Inuyasha, the scrolls did not work at all. Inuyasha grabs Kagome and begins to drag her out of the room. "Hold it right there!" Kagome's mom yells. Kagome's mom walks over to Inuyasha, grabs his ears and asks if they are real. "Me next! Me next!" Souta runs over. Kagome says, "Now is not the time for...well, I did it, too." Suddenly, Kagome notices a hair on Inuyasha's clothing. Inuyasha doesn't see it. Kagome picks it up. It tightens around her hand, cutting her. Nobody can see the hair except for Kagome. Then she realizes that it's Yura's hair. She runs out to the well. There's hair coming out of the well. Inuyasha is behind Kagome. She yells at him for letting the hair follow him. Kagome's grandpa and Souta run over and she yells at them not to come in and then closes the door on them. The hair attacks and Kagome dodges. She tells Inuyasha where it is. He tries to slash at it but misses. He hears where the hair moves and dodges it. Or at least tries to. The hair wraps itself around his arms and legs anyway. Outside, grandpa is pounding on the door while Kagome's mom and Souta wait and call out to Kagome. Inuyasha is fighting the hair, slashing at it. Whenever he cuts, the hair comes back. Then Kagome sees the main hair that is controlling the rest of it. She tells Inuyasha to cut it but Inuyasha can't see it so he just slashes blindly. Since he can't see it, Kagome grabs it and pulls it down. The angle she holds it at causes the light to bounce off, and Inuyasha sees it. He slashes it and the rest of the hair melts away. Kagome wonders why Yura attacked since she already has the shikon shard. Could it be that she's after her and Inuyasha? Kagome decides to go back, even though she doesn't want to. But if she stays, her family will be in danger. She feels Inuyasha place his coat on her. He tells her that it's made from the fur of a fire rat so it'll be stronger than any armor. They jump into the well. Yura is lying on top of thousands and thousands of skulls. She decides that it's almost time Kagome and Inuyasha get back. She's holding a weird red skull as she's talking to herself. Kaede is talking to herself. From inside the well, Kagome warns Inuyasha that even the well is surrounded by hair. This makes Inuyasha realize that Yura's after them. Kagome casually mentions that Yura has the shikon shard. Kagome decides that if they follow the main hairs, they'll find Yura. Inuyasha carries Kagome on his back. They see a campfire and stop at it, only to see the headless bodies of runaway samurais. Kagome picks up a bow and a quiver of arrows. Inuyasha makes fun of her that she can't hit anything anyway and Kagome tells him that if she practices...her hand tightens on Inuyasha's shoulder and Inuyasha decides that even if she's useless, she's got "backbone". Kagome tells him that the main strands are all gathering in one place, so they're close. A bunch of hair attacks. Kagome tries to tell Inuyasha where the hair is coming from since he can't see it, but it's coming from all sides. It wraps itself around Inuyasha's wrists and ankles and pulls him away, causing Kagome to fall to the ground. Kagome looks up and sees a giant ball of hair. Then Yura swings on her hair and lands on several strands. Yura and Inuyasha exchange a few rather angry words. Well, angry on Inuyasha's part and insulting on Yura's part. Inuyasha breaks free of the hair and swings towards Yura but Yura dodges him and uses a red comb to send more hair after him, tying him up with hair again. Yura lands behind Inuyasha and admires his silver hair. Inuyasha attacks, or tries to attack, but he's still tied up with the hair. In any case, he makes Yura fall backwards. She does a few flips in the air, uses the net of hair she has as a kind of "trampoline" and takes her sword out as she soars past Inuyasha. She cuts him. She decides to kill him now. *commercials* She attacks but something flies past her, causing her to jump back, away from Inuyasha. She looks down and sees Kagome with the bow. There are a few words exchanged between Yura and Kagome, causing Kagome to get mad and to fire another arrow. But this time it flies rast by Inuyasha. So close that he has to bow his head down because otherwise it would have hit him. Instead, the arrow hits Yura's ball of hair. Purple light begins to spread from it, engulfind the entire ball. Then it falls apart. Skulls with hair still attacked fall, still tangled together but not a giant ball anymore. Yura uses her red comb to send fire down on Kagome. Then she turns around to attack Inuyasha. Inuyasha puts his claws into his wound, covering them with blood. Then he slashes at Yura. It's an attack similar to Sankontetsusou except it's called "Hijintetsusou" which means Claws of Blood. It's more powerful than Sankontetsusou. One of the bloody blades cuts off Yura's hand and the hair tying Inuyasha loosens. With the red comb in her mouth and hair attached to her other hand, she sends skulls at Inuyasha and then her severed hand with the sword at his neck. Inuyasha dodges it, but it comes close. He sends more claws of blood after her but she blocks it with a wall of hair. Then the severed sword hand comes at him from behind and stabs him in the back. He falls to the ground as Yura reattaches her hand. Yura stands next to Inuyasha and prepares to cut his head off. That's when Inuyasha stands and puts his hand through (yes...through) Yura's chest. But Yura seems unaffected. Yura stands over Inuyasha, her red comb in hand, when suddenly she feels a tug at it. She looks behind her and sees Inuyasha climbing up the skulls and hair of Yura's former hairball home. She gets pissed and makes the whole thing rock but Kagome hangs on. While her back is turned, Inuyasha grabs her sword and slashes her vertically more or less in half. The hair comes and fixes her. Now Yura's really mad. Kagome calls out to Inuyasha that there's a red skull with something coming out of it. This makes Yura rush over at Kagome, leaving Inuyasha behind. Inuyasha pulls free of his binds as Yura tries to kill Kagome. Yura sends her sword at Kagome. It hits Kagome's arm but nothing happens. Kagome's still wearing Inuyasha's fire rat fur clothing. Yura sends some hair at Kagome but nothing happens. Then the hair goes around Kagome's neck. Then Kagome begins to get hurt. Inuyasha attacks Yura with his claws of blood, severing the hair at Yura's fingers and freeing Kagome. As the hair falls, taking Kagome with it, Inuyasha grabs her and lands safely on the ground with her. When they land Kagome yells at Inuyasha to be careful but a little bit too late as Yura's sword digs its way into his chest. Yura then pulls it out (by means of the hair) and catches it. She tells Inuyasha that she's immortal and then sends the sword at Inuyasha again. But it stops inches away from Inuyasha as Yura notices that Kagome is trying to break the red skull by using an arrow. She saying that the hair that is connected to Yura's hands is coming out of the skull. Yura sends the sword at Kagome and with a final swing, Kagome breaks the skull, stopping the sword. Purple light shines out of the skull and Yura begins to glow blue and disappear. Only her clothing is left. Kagome holds up a red comb that is broken in half. Inuyasha recognizes it as the real identity of the hair monster. The comb got sick of combing the hair of the dead and so it turned into a demon. Inuyasha reminds Kagome to get the shard of the shikon jewel. "Let's go, Kagome," Inuyasha says and shocks Kagome by calling her by her first name. And then Inuyasha asks her what's wrong then she blushes she says nothing is just that you never called me by my first name before. Inuyasha gets embarrass and say's yeah but don't get use to it. Then kagome start yelling at inuyasha Back To Top Under the light of the full moon a demon, named Sesshomaru, who is in search of "the fang" attacks a tomb guarded by wolves. After slaying the wolves, he discovers that "the fang" isn't there when his assistant's, Jaken, Staff of Heads screams. The two then depart to find "the fang". Meanwhile the guardian of the tomb, Myoga the flea, departs on the back of a wolf to warn Inuyasha. Later on, Sesshomaru and Jaken attack a group of samurais and takes one of their boats. On the boat, Jaken suggests that Inuyasha might know the location of the fang. Sesshomaru is angered by that suggestion. Jaken explains that there are rumors of him being freed from the seal that was cast upon him by a priestess 50 years ago (see episode 1). The next day, as Kagome returns to the village on her bike she recounts her adventures in the past (see episodes 1,2,3 and 4). Kagome finds Inuyasha on a tree and tells him that she's arrived to treat his wounds (see episode 4), but Inuyasha shows her that he's already healed. Inuyasha then notices that Myouga (the flea from the grave Sesshomaru attacked) is sucking his blood. Inuyasha slaps him and he falls off his chest. Later, Myoga informs Inuyasha, Kagome and Kaede of what that someone is trying to dig up the grave of Inuyasha's father. But the one he was guarding was just a fake one and the real one is in an unknown location. Inuyasha explains he remembers little of his father. Kagome asks about Inuyasha's mother but before Myoga can divulge much about her, Inuyasha steps on him explaining that his mother's died a long time ago and walks out of Kaede's hut. Kagome leaves to find Inuyasha. Kagome finds him on a tree. She realizes that Inuyasha's mother must've been human to make him a half-demon and he must hate her for it. Inuyasha jumps down to protect Kagome from a strong wind that began to blow. Inuyasha and Kagome then notice a carriage in the sky and in it is Inuyasha's mother! Suddenly, a giant ogre grabs the carriage and crushes it. Inuyasha runs up to attack but greeted by the flames from Jaken's staff. Sesshomaru then appears and reveals himself to be Inuyasha's brother! Sesshomaru asks Inuyasha if he knows the location of their father's grave. Inuyasha informs him that he doesn't know where it is. Sesshomaru has the ogre inflict more pain on Inuyasha's mother, who Sesshomaru brought back from the dead. An angered Inuyasha frees his mother by cutting of the ogre's arm. The ogre tries to retrieve Inuyasha's mother. The mother then releases a ball that teleports Inuyasha, Kagome and herself to a beautiful garden by a lake. Inuyasha's mother tells him that she'll be returning to the realm of dead. As she hugs him goodbye, a paralyzed Kagome notices that the reflection of Inuyasha's mother in the lake has no face! Back To Top Written by XxshadowxX97@aol.com The villagers are looking for Kagome when they find her bike. Back in Present day Tokyo, Kagome's mom and Souta talk about Kagome. Inuyasha and his "mother" are still standing together while Kagome is desperately willing him to wake up and realize that she's not his mother. Inuyasha's mother says that she has to go back to the next world now, and makes a flower appear in her hands. she sends it onto the water where it breaks apart and the petals float. Then she tells Inuyasha to look into the water. He sees his own memories from when he was a little boy. His mother hugs him but from behind we see that her hands melt into him, absorbing him. While Kagome is trying to figure out why she can't move, she realizes that everything has been an illusion. The pond is a swamp and there are chains holding her down. Myouga the flea comes over to Kagome and tries to wake her up by sucking her blood. It works. Kagome can move again. Jaken is in about, coming towards Inuyasha and the woman who now has no face. He calls her the "nothing woman" and hits her for absorbing him so quickly because he's going to die if she does. He asks her if she found out the location of Inuyasha's father's grave. Kagome is hiding around the corner and Myouga warns her about Jaken's staff of heads. The nothing woman absorbs Inuyasha further, trying to get him to remember the location of the grave, but he doesn't know. Then he says "the right black pearl" Jaken yells at her to find out more but the nothing woman tells him that if she goes deeper, his soul will break. While in his condition, Inuyasha realizes that the woman is not his mother. While Jaken yells at the nothing woman that if she doesn't hurry up he'll get scolded by Sesshoumaru, his staff disappears from his hands. Kagome has grabbed it from behind and then she kicks Jaken froward. Then, swinging the staff like a golf club, she hits Jaken several feet into the air. Then she runs after the nothing woman. Myouga tells her that she has to wake up Inuyasha's soul in order to free him. Myouga tells Kagome that the nothing woman is made up of the souls of women who have lost their children in wars. That's when Kagome sees the real form of the nothing woman's spell reflected in the water. The disturbs the water in order to free Inuyasha's soul and Inuyasha is knocked away from the nothing woman. Inuyasha is pissed that the nothing woman took the form of his mother but Kagome tells him that it was all Sesshoumaru's and Jaken's doing. Then Sesshoumaru's voice is heard. He says that he has finally realized the location of the grave. Before Inuyasha has time to finish yelling out "Sesshoumaru!" Sesshoumaru is already in front of him, holding his neck with one clawed hand, while the rest of Inuyasha hangs several feet above the ground. He's still talking about his father's grave. Then he puts one clawed finger in front of Inuyasha's right eye. Yellow electricity shoots out into Inuyasha's eye and Sesshoumaru pulls out his pupil, then drops Inuyasha to the ground. Inuyasha's pretty pissed by this point. He attacks Sesshoumaru and Sesshoumaru sends his whip thing after him. Right before he's to deliver the final blow, the nothing woman throws herself in front of Inuyasha, protecting him but getting destroyed in the process. Sesshoumaru lands expressionlessly several feet away and Kagome begins yelling at him. He looks at her but Myouga tells her not to oppose him since they'll get killed. Jaken is crawling on his hands and knees when Sesshoumaru calls for him. He brings back the staff of heads and offers it to Sessoumaru. Sesshoumaru takes the staff, drops the black pearl to the ground and puts the end of the staff on it. The old man's face starts laughing. The pearl glows purple then goes out but a portal opens to Sesshoumaru's right. He goes in along with Jaken. Myouga tells Inuyasha to hurry after him because Sesshoumaru will get the treasure. Inuyasha turns to Kagome to tell her to stay there because it's going to be dangerous, but Kagome is already halfway inside the portal. She tells him to hurry up and then disappears inside. Then he follows her. They arrive at the grave. A bird of bones picks them up and carries them to a giant skeleton that Inuyasha says is his father. Kagome is amazed at the size of it. Myouga tells her that Inuyasha's father was a taiyoukai (great youkai) who lived for a very long time. Sesshoumaru is after the enchanted blade inside. They go into the skeleton. Inside, Sesshoumaru is standing in front of a sword that is point up in a stone table of sorts. Sesshoumaru says that the blade is capable of destroying 100 youkai with one swing. Its name is Tetsusaiga. He puts his hand on the hilt of the blade as Jaken says that Tetsusaiga was made from the fang of Sesshoumaru's and Inuyasha's father. Sesshoumaru's tries to pul the sword free but electricity crackles all around his hand and he cannot wield the sword. That's when Inuyasha and Kagome arrive. Inuyasha attacks but Sesshoumaru easily dodges and Inuyasha ends up face down in the skulls that litter the floor of the grave. As Inuyasha is threatening Sesshoumaru, Myouga turns Inuyasha's attention to the Tetsusaiga. Myouga tells Inuyasha to pull it out, and then says that Sesshoumaru wasn't able to pull it out. Inuyasha claims he doesn't want it. Sesshoumaru asks if he's implying that Inuyasha will be able to and Myouga says yes sine the grave was hidden in Inuyasha's eye. Inuyasha doesn't want it. The two brothers fight. Sesshoumaru is much faster than Inuyasha since he's a full demon. Myouga tells Inuyasha to take the sword. Then Kagome yells down to Inuyasha to take the sword because if he pulls it out then Sesshoumaru will lose face. Inuyasha strolls over to Tetsusaiga as Sesshoumaru glares. Inuyasha puts his hand on the sword. There's no electricity but he's having trouble. A light shines from the stone table. *commercials* The light is getting brighter and Sesshoumaru's glare more heated. Then the light goes out, Jaken's jaw drops, and the sword is still in the table. Then Sesshoumaru attacks. He easily catches up to Inuyasha and then pins him against a wall of the grave. Hee takes his hand back and it begins to glow green. Then he thrusts it towards Inuyasha. Inuyasha dodges and the wall that was behind him melts. Its poison. Inuyasha runs and Sesshoumaru takes out his glowy whip thing. Inuyasha slides several feet and Jaken prepares to throw flames at him. But Kagome takes Jaken on. He pushes her back. As Inuyasha worries about Kagome he gets hit by the still-attacking Sesshoumaru. Kagome puts her hand on the hilt of Tetsusaiga to help herself stand up. Inuyasha is about to get it with the poison claws again. He springs forward but Sesshoumaru stops him with one hand. He then pushes him into the ground and is about to kill him. Kagome steps forward, still holding on to the sword, when it comes free. Shocked, Sesshoumaru stops his attack and turns back to look at Kagome. "Sorry...it slipped" she says innocently. Jaken, Inuyasha, and Sesshoumaru are utterly and completely shocked. Back To Top This Episode Summary was from Here and I do not want any credit. Kagome stands there, holding the Tetsusaiga, not quite sure what to do. As Sesshoumaru looks at Kagome, Inuyasha sees this as an opportunity to attack. He does so, but misses because Sesshoumaru is already standing in front of Kagome. He asks her how she was able to pull out the Tetsusaiga. Inuyasha yells at him to leave Kagome alone since she has nothing to do with it. Kagome holds the Tetsusaiga in front of her, threatening to swing it if Sesshoumaru takes one step closer. Sesshoumaru informs Inuyasha that neither he nor Inuyasha were able to pull out the Tetsusaiga, but she did it easily. "You want me to ignore this?" he asks Inuyasha. Inuyasha tells Kagome to give Sesshoumaru the Tetsusaiga but she doesn't want to. If he wasn't able to pull it out himself then it isn't rightfully his. Inuyasha tells her she's annoying. "Annoying?!" Kagome yells out and steps forward - right in front of Sesshoumaru, pointing the Tetsusaiga at Inuyasha. Only when Sesshoumaru utters a single "Hm" does she realize who she's standing in front of and gasps as Sesshoumaru begins to speak of Inuyasha's growing attraction to humans. Sesshoumaru also talks about their father. How he inherited his father's great power, but not his affection for humans. His eyes do not care for them. Without another word or a change of expression, Sesshoumaru turns and holds out his open palm in front of Kagome. Poison engulfs her and melts everything around her. Kagome cannot protect herself and is soon covered in melted bone, along with the Tetsusaiga. "How insignificant. Don't you think so, Inuyasha?" Sesshoumaru finishes. Inuyasha attacks with the Sankontetsusou but Sesshoumaru dodges. He uses his big fluffy boa to grab Inuyasha. It wraps itself around him and then Sesshoumaru pulls it close to him so that Inuyasha is right next to him. Then he uses the boa to throw Inuyasha across the grave, causing him to land in the mass of skulls and slide several feet on his face, then hitting a wall. Inuyasha barely has time to recover. While he is still on his knees, Sesshoumaru uses his whip on him. Inuyasha protects himself with his fire rat coat. Then, with the whip, Sesshoumaru knocks Inuyasha into the wall behind him. As Sesshoumaru continues whipping Inuyasha, Inuyasha remembers his childhood. He was playing with a ball and the people kept throwing it away from him, calling him a hanyou. Finally somebody threw it to the other side of a small bridge. He followed it and found his mother on the other side. Tossing the ball away, he ran to her and asked her what a hanyou was. His mother began to cry. Inuyasha steadies himself against a wall of the grave and looks at where Kagome died. He rushes at Sesshoumaru and uses his claws on him. Sparks fly as Sesshoumaru jumps into the air. Inuyasha jumps after him and hits his armor with his claws again. More sparks fly and Sesshoumaru looks extremely surprised. Jaken wonders how this is possible since a moment ago, Inuyasha couldn't even touch his brother. Inuyasha lands and so does Sesshoumaru a few feet away. He looks down at his armor which cracks and then breaks away. "Are you raged for such a worthless thing as a human girl?" he asks, smiling slightly. He is extremely amused by the whole situation. Suddenly Kagome bursts out from under the melted bones. "I thought I was going to die!" She stands up and points the Tetsusaiga at Sesshoumaru. "YOU! You tried to kill me didn't you?!" She threatens him and then hands Tetsusaiga to the speechless Inuyasha. She tells him that the sword looks really great. "How come you're still alive?" he asks her. She doesn't know. But Sesshoumaru does. The skuls beneath his feet are beginning to make a strange clattering noise as if they're shaking. "She was protected by the sword's barrier spell," he says. Then the skulls beneath his feet begin to move. Myouga is telling Inuyasha that since the Tetsusaiga was able to fend off Sesshoumaru's poison attack, it must be really great. He shouldn't hold back when fighting Sesshoumaru. Sesshoumaru is further amused. There's a growling noise now. He opens his eyes very wide and something much like a whirlwind begins around him, throwing skulls everywhere, but mostly at Inuyasha. Kagome is hiding behind Inuyasha as he is pelted with skulls. Sesshoumaru doesn't move. He will gladly see how well a worthless hanyou can use the Tetsusaiga. He opens his eyes winder still and they turn red. I don't just mean the iris...I mean the entire eye. His boa and his hair are being blown straight back. Then his face changes. It elongates like a dog's and his teeth become extremely sharp. His whole body (including boa) turns a reddish color and then he zooms around the grave, from wall to wall, finally hitting the ground, blowing skulls to the side. We see that Sesshoumaru has turned into a giant, rather formidable looking white dog demon. Bulging muscles, really sharp teeth, poison breath, huge claws. Kagome is surprised but Inuyasha isn't. He tells her that Sesshoumaru's just shown his true form. Sesshoumaru steps forward and Inuyasha and Kagome inch back. Inuyasha tells Kagome to hide and then runs to attack Sesshoumaru, leaving Kagome wondering where she's supposed to hide. Inuyasha hits Sesshoumaru with the Tetsusaiga as Sesshoumaru lifts himself to attack Inuyasha, but the blade just bounces off. But, as it turns out, Sesshoumaru's target was not Inuyasha but Kagome. Kagome narrowly avoids the impact of Sesshoumaru's giant paw, which destroys a portion of the wall of the grave. Then Sesshoumaru attacks Inuyasha, but he dodges. And he keeps dodging. That's when Sesshoumaru unleashes the poison, which comes out of his mouth now, instead of his hand. Inuyasha asks Myouga why the blade won't cut, but Myouga is already packing to run away. Inuyasha tells Kagome to go up higher because of the poison. Kagome is climbing up the spine of Inuyasha's father. The poison is creeping up higher and higher. Everything around him is melting and Inuyasha begins to cough. He jumps upwards towards the exit, blinking hard. When he reaches the top he coughs and is unable to move. Behind him, a pair of red eyes appear. Sesshoumaru grabs Inuyasha with his teeth and pulls him back down into the grave. You can tell that he's smiling. Inuyasha takes the Tetsusaiga and sticks it into Sesshoumaru's eye. Sesshoumaru jumps up and bursts through the top of the grave. Sesshoumaru throws Inuyasha off him and he lands on the ground a little far away from Kagome. Sesshoumaru slowly blinks open his eye. *commercials* Myouga tells Inuyasha to deliver Sesshoumaru a final blow with the Tetsusaiga, but, it's still just a rusted old sword. Myouga runs away. Sesshoumaru attacks and Inuyasha dodges. Inuyasha tries to fight Sesshoumaru off with the sword but it keeps bouncing off. He lands next to Kagome who tries to encourage him. Apparently the last blow did do some damage because Sesshoumaru whimpers slightly and licks his paw...that's an odd visual isn't it... Inuyasha tells Kagome that he's strong enough to survive this but she might get killed at any time. Her eyes fill with tears. "You mean, there's no way?" Inuyasha freaks out. "Did I make her cry?" He yells at her to stop crying and they argue a little more until Inuyasha tells her that he'll protect her. That's when Sesshoumaru shows up. Inuyasha walks towards him. Inuyasha holds the Tetsusaiga in front of him, when it begins to pulse with a sound much like a heartbeat. Jaken is yelling to Sesshoumaru to kill Inuyasha when Kagome throws skulls at Jaken's head. Sesshoumaru jumps up into the air and then comes down at Inuyasha, the claws on his left front leg ready to sink into him. Inuyasha comes up with the now transformed Tetsusaiga, slicing Sesshoumaru's arm all the way up vertically, and then evering it right below the shoulder. Sesshoumaru falls to the ground, the stub of his arm bleeding badly. That's when Inuyasha notices that the Tetsusaiga has assumed the shape of a fang. Sesshoumaru lifts himself up, the stump of his arm still bleeding heavily. Inuyasha tells Sesshoumaru that they're still fighting on their father, so compared to him, they're still tiny. Sesshoumaru growls. Inuyasha tells Sesshoumaru that since the sword was hidden inside his eye, he won't give it up to anyone, not even his brother. Sesshoumaru attacks and Inuyasha slashes at his chest with the Tetsusaiga. Sesshoumaru is knocked down, leaving Jaken calling after him. He transforms himself into a small glowing orb and floats away. Jaken runs after him. Myouga comes back telling Inuyasha that he's always believed in him. Inuyasha is about to crush him when Myouga shows Inuyasha that he's secured a way back for them. "Then you really weren't running away?" Inuyasha asks, his face completely trusting and innocent and happy. Myouga confesses. He was running away. Inuyasha crushes Myouga. Inuyasha and Kagome jump out of the portal, landing safely on the ground. The portal then closes and the black pearl falls back into Inuyasha's eye. Kaede and Kagome are talking in Kaede's hut. Myouga says that it was because Kagome was human that she was able to pull out the Tetsusaiga since it was a blade created to protect humans. That's when Kagome realizes that the Tetsusaiga transformed when Inuyasha told Kagome that he would protect her. His father probably wanted him to know that his heart protects humans, and that's a strength not a weakness. So the one that inherited the father's heart was not Sesshoumaru, but Inuyasha. Inuyasha is sitting in a tree, swinging the Tetsusaiga, trying to make it transform. He tries to cut the tree but almost falls out. Kagome calls down from the ground to Inuyasha, asking him if he wants her to teach him how to use it. He jumps down and stands in front of her. "You would have to promise to always protect me with that sword." "Your brain's broken or something." Inuyasha says. She reminds him that he said he'd always protect her. "I never said ALWAYS!" He'll soon be a real youkai so he has no time to waste protecting her. Kagome pushes him into the middle of the little wooden bridge. She walks back to land. "Sit" Inuyasha's head becomes a magnet for the ground. The bridge breaks and he falls into the water below. Back To Top This Episode Summary was from Here and I do not want any credit. Kagome is swimming in a lake - this time with her bathin suit on. Inuyasha is lying in a tree saying that it's been three days since they've left the village. He doesn't think that there's any shikon no kakera (shikon shards) in the Musashi Area. Myouga is looking at Kagome, barely listening to Inuyasha. He wants to go peek on her but Inuyasha says that he'll be the one to get hit. Then somehing flashes past Inuyasha towards the lake where Kagome is. Inuyasha tears after it. Kagome turns around and sees Inuyasha coming at her. She screams...Inuyasha yells and barely lands on a rock. He tells her he wasn't peeping at her and she tells him to get her clothes back. Then she points and we see a monkey running away with Kagome's clothing. Then there's a leaf-flute sound. There's a boy dressed in a blue kimono sitting under a tree. The monkey jumps over to him with Kagome's clothes. The boy calls the monkey Hiroshimaru (why such a small monkey needs such a long difficult-to-type name is beside me). The boy goes through Kagome's clothing and pulls out a bra. "This is not food!" Inuyasha jumps out of the bushes as does Kagome, demanding that the boy return her clothing. The boy pulls out his sword but Inuyasha puts his foot on the side of his face and pushes down as the monkey runs around in circles with its arms above its head. Kagome gave the boy some potato chips and tea. She offers some to Inuyasha but he doesn't want any. Kagome introduces herself, Inuyasha, and Myouga and then asks the boy who he is. He tells her he is Nobunaga. Kagome gets really excited thinking that he's Oda Nobunaga (a little Japanese history for you to look up) She asks him for his autograph and then sees that he's not Oda Nobunaga but Amari Nobunaga. The boy decides that it's time for him to leave so he walks away. "Hey, that way is..." Inuyasha begins. Then we hear yelling and a loud crash. "...to a cliff" Inuyasha finishes. A bunch of villagers are talking as the girls of the villagers are being led away. They wonder what the lord does with all the girls. No girl who ever goes into the castle comes back. Nobunaga, the monkey, Inuyasha, and Kagome are watching from the bushes. Inuyasha wonders if they really need to be following the idiot. Inuyasha begins to say that they need to gather shikon shards when he overhears a villager saying that he heard that the lord has been taken over by a mononoke (vengeful spirit) At the castle the lord is talking to his wife, the princess. However it's strange that the lord's entire body is wrapped up in bandages. He asks her if she feel comfortable there with him. Timidly she answers yes. She then asks him about the girls he's been gathering. This gets the lord angry. He bangs his hands against the floor and tells her that it's none of her business. She begins apologizing and he walks off. She's scared and wants to go back home to Kai. It's night. Inuyasha and the others are standing at the base of the castle. Inuyasha smells a mononoke. He's sure that there's a shikon shard inside. He kneels down and tells Kagome to get on his back. To his surprise not only Kagome but Nobunaga gets on his back. After some arguing they convince Inuyasha to carry Nobunaga inside as well. They land inside the castle walls only to see all the guards -- asleep. Myouga tells Inuyasha that it's a spell that put them to sleep. Nobunaga is running through the castle looking for Princess Tsuyu. He opens a door and finds a person that he thinks is the princess (i was having difficulties wording this sentence...give me a break) He picks her up and sees that she's an old woman...he thinks the old woman is the princess. Then Kagome diverts his attention to the princess, who is lying a few feet away. Nobunaga drops the old woman with a loud thump. Myouga jumps down onto the Princess' face and sucks some of her blood. The princess wakes up. The Princess is surprised to see Nobunaga and Nobunaga is surprised that the princess remembers him. Kagome turns to Inuyasha and tells him that Nobunaga might be in love with the priness. "FEH!" The princess begins to cry. She tells them that her lord has been acting weird ever since he fell in a lake. It's not like his personality changed - it's like he became a different person altogether. Nobunaga tells her that she's to come back to Kai with him. Right when he's about to confess his love, the monkey sits on top of his head and begins to do a little show. Outside, Inuyasha hears footsteps. He and Kagome go out to meet the lord. Inuyasha slashes at the bandages that cover the lord to expose a toad. The princess faints. Kagome sees that the toad has a shikon shard. As Inuyasha attacks, the toad spits out poison gas. As Inuyasha lies on the ground, coughing, the lord walks over to Nobunaga and the princess. Nobunaga draws his sword and the toad shoots his tongue out. It goes through Nobunaga's shoulder. Then the toad grabs the princess and runs away. Inuyasha goes after it. The toad wants to eat the princess. Inuyasha slashes through the door to see that the toad has trapped the princess in an egg thing. Then Kagome, who was helping Nobunaga walk, shows up with Nobunaga. They look around and see that there are hundreds of eggs - each with a girl inside. The toad uses them to mature a girl's soul and then he eats it (the soul). Using the power of the shikon shard he took the identity of the castle's lord. Nobunaga attacks and the toad prepares to spray poison gas again. Inuyasha pushes past Nobunaga and draws Tetsusaiga. Inuyasha injures the toad with the Tetsusaiga, which has transformed because so far he's protecting humans. The toad calls forth the souls of girls and eats them. His wound disappears. The toad tells Inuyasha that no matter how much he slashes at him, he'll just eat more souls and regenerate. Meanwhile, Nobunaga cuts through the egg encasing the princess and lets her out. The princess wakes up and hugs Nobunaga, who blushes furiously and hugs her back. "I can die in peace now!" The toad runs over to the princess and gets hit in the head by the Tetsusaiga. He falls to the ground and when he opens his eyes again, they've gone from red to blue. His voice has changed as well. The princess recognizes the voice as the voice of her true lord. He asks Inuyasha to kill him. He begins to cry as he asks Inuyasha to kill him so he doesn't hurt any more people. Inuyasha raises the Tetsusaiga to kill the lord. Kagome tells Inuyasha not to kill him since the lord still has some of his humanity left. Then Nobunaga stands in front of the lord with his hands spread and tells Inuyasha not to kill the lord since his mind still remains. Inuyasha threatens Nobunaga but he doesn't move. Inuyasha takes his sword back and sheathes it. "Alright. I won't lay my hand in this matter." He sits down. "HMPH!" Behind Nobunaga the toad stands up. When it opens its eyes, they're red again. It thanks him for saving his life and then shoots his tongue through his shoulder again. Nobunaga falls to the ground. Inuyasha says that if he steps in, the lord dies. Nobunaga begs Kagome to take the princess and run, so she does. The toad goes after them. Nobunaga insists that Inuyasha not kill the lord. *commercials* While Kagome and the princess are running, Myouga tells her that the toad should be weak against flame. They see that the toad is beginning to catch up to them so they run faster. Kagome tries to think of something that's hot and comes up with fire. She asks the princess if there's anything like a torch around. Nobunaga's monkey jumps ahead of them. The princess trips and falls. The toad keeps coming, saying that he will devour them both. The monkey hops back with a small oil lamp. But it's very very small. The toad arrives and knocks Kagome down. Her things spill out of her backpack. Inuyasha arrives and tells her that it's useless to talk now because he's going to kill the toad. Then Kagome notices her hair spray that fell out of her backpack. She gets an idea. Inuyasha runs at the toad and Kagome screams out "SIT!" She holds the small fire the monkey brought in front of her and the can of hair spray behind the fire. Then she fires it at the toad. The toad flies out of the lord's body and Inuyasha kills it, getting the shikon shard. Nobunaga hobbles towards Inuyasha and thanks him. The princess gets up and starts running towards Nobunaga, calling his name. But the princess hugs her husband instead of Nobunaga. Outside the castle, Kagome has set up a picnic. Since the spell of the toad was broken, all the girls were saved. She tells Nobunaga to cheer up. Inuyasha says he really is a fool since he went through all that to save the life of his love rival. Nobunaga admits that he is more foolish than Oda Nobunaga (again, look up your Japanese history). Inuyasha admits that thanks to this fool, a man's life was saved. Mobunaga gets up to leave. "Nobunaga, over there..." Nobunaga disappears from view suddenly and there's a loud crash. "...is a cliff" "He really is a fool," Kagome says. While Inuyasha eats some Ramen noodles, an ominous voice demands that they hand over the Shikon no Tama. It's soon revealed that the voice is Shippo a little fox demon. Shippo is after the shards so he become stronger and avenge the death of father. Elsewhere, a group of soldiers are mercilessly killed by Hiten and Manten, the two Thunder Brothers, who are enjoying the power they've received from the Shikon shards. Shippo explains that the Thunder Brothers killed his father for his Shikon shards. Shippo deduces that the Thunder Brothers will kill anyone who has a Shikon shard. Inuyasha vows to beat the brothers, which Shippo finds funny hearing a half-demon say that. Inuyasha hits Shippo several times on the head. Shippo quickly apologizes to get his beating to stop. Shippo then places a statue on Inuyasha's hand and distracts Kagome so he can get the Shikon shards. At a pond, Manten looks at his reflection in the water and longs for more hair. Shippo then runs into Manten, who is wearing the fur from Shippo's father around his waist. As Shippo tries to Manten, he just falls down causing the Shikon shards fall from his pocket. As Shippo runs to get them, Manten prepares to fire his Breath Blast. Before he can Kagome appears and fires an arrow through his snout. Kagome sees the shards in his forehead and aims for them, but instead misses and shoots his two of his remaining hairs off. Angered, Manten fires a huge breath blast, knocking Kagome out. Manten takes note of Kagome's beauty and takes her away. Shippo, who regrets abandoning Kagome, returns to Inuyasha and takes his statue of hand. Inuyasha hits Shippo and takes his Shikon shards back. Shippo explains that Kagome was kidnapped by the Thunder Brothers. Inuyasha, Shippo and Myoga take off to find Kagome. Kagome wakes up and sees herself in the Thunder Brothers' house. Manten tells Kagome that the skin of young girls is said to be good for the hair, so he'll be skinning her for that purpose. Hiten then enters with a woman. Kagome sees that Hiten looks more like a human and might be easier to reason with. That idea is soon thrown out the window when Hiten kills the woman upon discovering that Manten found shards but let them get away. Hiten and Manten then start to depart (so they can get the shards). Manten then takes out a cleaver and is about to kill Kagome, to insure that his hair potion doesn't escape. Kagome exclaims that if they kill her they won't get any Shikon shards. Intrigued by this, Hiten asks why. Kagome explains that the powerful Inuyasha has killed many demons and almost all the Shikon shards. She tells them that Inuyasha is also deeply in love with her, so he'd gladly give them Shikon Shards for her. Hiten is willing to believe her. He warns her that if she's lying she'll end up dead. Meanwhile, Inuyasha and the others are quickly approaching the Thunder Brother's house. The Thunder Brothers then attack the three. Inuyasha is relieved to see that Kagome is unharmed. Seeing the relief on his face, Hiten assumes that Inuyasha really is in love with Kagome. Inuyasha is thrown for a loop when he hears Hiten refer to Kagome as his woman. Inuyasha denies it and Kagome says the he's just being shy. Hiten tells Inuyasha to prepare fight. Hiten draws out his weapon, Raigekijin, and lunges at Inuyasha. Inuyasha blocks Raigekijin with Tetsusaiga. Back To Top Manten remembers a time when his head was full of hair, but as soon as he when bald, all the girls that hung around him left him. Inuyasha and Hiten continue to battle. Shippo watches and vows to rescue Kagome. Manten prepares to fire a breath blast at Inuyasha, but Kagome pushes him off the cloud causing him to fall into his own attack. The cloud beneath Kagome dissipates and it sends her falling down to the crater created by Manten's attack. When Kagome falls on Manten he wakes up and attacks her, but his attempt is foiled when Shippo launches a top at him. Kagome escapes from the crater. When Shippo's top dissipates, Manten's last hair falls out. Furious, Manten fires a huge breath blast. Shippo and Kagome run away and hide behind a tree. Kagome devises a plan distract Manten long enough so she can hit him with an arrow. Shippo disguises himself as Kagome and allows himself to be captured by Manten. However, before Kagome can shoot, Shippo looses his form. Manten then starts to strangle Kagome. Inuyasha is distracted by Kagome's situation and manages to be hit by Hiten's Raigekijin. Inuyasha is sent flying and he drops Tetsusaiga. Hiten holds Raigekijin in Inuyasha's face and stops to observe what Manten is doing. Shippo tries to save Kagome, but fails. Manten tells Shippo that after Kagome, he'll skin him, just like his father. Enraged by that, Shippo bites Manten's neck. Inuyasha uses his ‘Blades of Blood' (Hijinketsou) to distract Hiten. Inuyasha then picks up Tetsusaiga and throws it at Manten, piercing his chest. Shippo quickly takes his father's fur. Hiten rushes to Manten's side (and uses Raigekijin to chase Kagome and Shippo away). Manten dies in Hiten's arms. Hiten then eats the Shikon shards that Manten had and attacks Inuyasha once again. Myoga tells Inuyasha to use Tetsusaiga's sheath to block Hiten's attacks, he does and it works. Inuyasha uses the sheath to ward of Hiten's attacks. Eventually, Hiten stabs Inuyasha through the back. Kagome notices that the wheels on Hiten's feet allow him to move in the air. She finds an arrow and has Shippo transform into a bow. She shoots one of Hiten's wheels, causing it to break. Hiten and Inuyasha continue to fight. While blocking one of Raigekijin attacks, the sheath begins to break under the pressure. Kagome and Shippo run to get Tetsusaiga, but Hiten uses Manten's Breath Blast to kill Kagome and Shippo. Inuyasha attacks with renewed force and the sheath then summons Tetsusaiga. Inuyasha then uses Tetsusaiga to cut Hiten in half. Suddenly, Kagome and Shippo appear in a blaze of blue fire. Inuyasha assumes it's their ghosts saying goodbye. When the fire starts to disappear, Inuyasha tells Kagome not to go. Inuyasha soon sees that only the fire left. Myoga concludes that it was the fox fire from Shippo's father's fur. Later on, Shippo decides to stay with Kagome and Inuyasha on their journey. Back To Top After a little ordeal with Inuyasha, Kagome returns home so she can take some important tests at school. After Kagome leaves for school, her Shikon shards cause a package on the grounds to glow. When Kagome arrives at school she learns that her Grandfather has been covering up her absences from school by claiming that she's been sick. Just then a boy from Class-B, named Hojo, gives Kagome something for her health. In class, Kagome's friends ask her what her relationship with Hojo is, she tells that they aren't dating. In the past, Inuyasha is still in pain from his little incident with Kagome earlier. In the present, Grandpa investigates a fire in a warehouse on the temple grounds. In the blaze he sees that a previously sealed Noh Mask (it was in the glowing package) is calling out for a body. Grandpa uses some paper seals to protect himself from it, but those seals don't protect him from a falling ceiling beam. Kagome comes home to her grandfather being taken away on an ambulance. As the firemen investigate the charred remains of the building, the Noh-Mask attaches itself to a fireman. Souta comes home and is reasonably freaked, Kagome tells him everything is fine. That changes when a fire truck runs loose on through the streets. The man at wheel's (who's controlled by the mask) body starts to rot and the mask cries out for more Shikon shards. At hospital, an unconscious Grandpa starts murmuring ‘Noh-Men'. That night, Kagome studies at her desk and Souta wants to sleep in her room. Kagome tells him that he can't since she has to study. Kagome realizes that something is going on. In the city, the mask absorbs more people. The blob-controlled fire truck crashes into Kagome's room. The blob tries to get Kagome's shards but she gets to them first. Kagome and Souta make a break for it. Kagome senses a shard in the mask face of the blob. Kagome tells Souta to get Inuyasha. Kagome distracts the blob so Souta can escape. Souta reaches the well and can't make it work, but soon Inuyasha comes through. Inuyasha and Souta take off and Souta fills Inuyasha in on the situation with the blob. Kagome has chases the blob to a steel infrastucture of an incomplete building. The blob almost absorbs Kagome, but Inuyasha saves her in the nick of time, with some help from Tetsusaiga, Inuyasha defeats the blob. Kagome thanks Inuyasha. Kagome sees the sun rising and takes off for school. Back To Top Kagome returns home through the well to find her grandpa telling Hojo that she's sick, again. After Hojo leaves Kagome reprimands her grandpa for saying she's ill again, when she can go to school. Anyway, Kagome goes to school and after that she gets ice cream with her friends, who continues to ask her about Hojo. Later at a park, the girls see some children and their parents using fireworks. Kagome notices a girl with a winter coat throw a lit fire work into some unlit ones, setting them off. The girl takes of and Kagome chases after her. Kagome calls out to the girl, who is shocked that Kagome can see her, and asks her why she did that. Kagome holds her hand out to help the girl but it's slapped away by the girl who then disappears. Kagome's approach and ask who she was talking to. In the Warring States Period, Inuyasha impaitently sits in front of Tetsusaiga in beeswax. Myouga tells him that the wax of steel bees is the only way to repair Tetsusaiga's sheath after the fight with the Thunder Brothers. Shippo is also annoyed that he's struck alone with Inuyasha, when he Kagome would be with them. The three then hear a flute in the distance and see a huge yellow youkai with the souls of children around it. Myouga explains that its Tatarimokke (Soul Piper) a youkai that plays with the souls of recently dead children until they pass on. Tatarimokke is also very friendly, until his eyes are completely open… Much to Kagome's dismay she has to take Souta to see his friend, Satoru, at the hospital. At the hospital, Kagome finds out that six months ago Satoru's apartment caught on fire and Satoru has been in a coma ever since. Kagome then sees the girl from the park tug at Satoru's IV cord shattering the container. Meanwhile above the hospital, the girl expresses her disappointment in failing while Tatarimokke plays his flute next to her. When Kagome and Souta are walking home, Souta tells Kagome that when Satoru first was in the hospital, his whole class would visit. But soon bad things started happening and they stopped coming, except for Souta of course. He tells Kagome that Satoru's older sister, Mayu, died in the fire. Souta and Kagome arrive at Satoru's apartment building. From the street, Souta points out that the apartment has been left untouched since the fire because weird things happened when the fire department tried to clean it up. Then a pot falls from the apartment and falls in front of Kagome and Souta. Souta's fears of it being an evil spirit are confirmed and he then faints. Mayu then appears in front of Kagome after jumping down from the apartment. Kagome asks Mayu why she's harming Satoru. Mayu tells her that she's going to kill Satoru because her mother hated her and only loved Satoru. Mayu threatens to kill Kagome if she interrupts. As Mayu vanishes the nearby shrubs and tree swing around Kagome and Tatarimokke appears and his eyes open a little… In the Warring States Period, Kagome asks Myouga about Mayu. He tells her about Tatarimokke and that if a soul becomes and evil spirit (if they hold on to feelings of hate, anger revenge) then he takes them to hell. Shippo adds that he does when his eyes are completely open. Kagome the resolves to help Mayu. Inuyasha tells her its wise to not get involved. Kagome keeps her resolve and returns to the present to help out. At Satoru's hospital room, his mother sews a goldfish yukata and flashes back to when Mayu asked her to make her one. Outside the room, Mayu plans to kill Satoru when the mother leaves. When night hits, Satoru's mother leaves the hospital and meets Kagome, who rushed over. Kagome asks about Mayu and finds out that Mayu would always accuse her hating her of loving Satoru more. The last fight occurred when she missed Mayu's school play to take care of an ill Satoru. Mayu ran off after the fight, the mother assumed that Mayu left the house, but was surprised to see Mayu's body removed from the apartment by firefighter's after she ran into save Satoru. Then Kagome and the mom see the window of Satoru's room shatter and they run to it. Kagome sees Mayu standing on the window ledge and calls out to her. The mom tells Mayu that she didn't know that Mayu was inside during the fire. Mayu uses forces the mother out of the room and into the hall wall. Mayu remembers that she snuck in while her mother was at the store and hung her scarf over the heater, despite the sick Satoru's warning. Mayu then enters the closet and tells Satoru not to tell. The memory ends and Mayu says that she know its her fault and shoves Satoru's bed out the window. Kagome fears the worst but is relieved to see that Inuyasha rescued Satoru. Tatarimokke appears behind Mayu, opens his eyes all the way and drags Mayu to hell. Inuyasha and Kagome rush towards Mayu's apartment to stop from being sucked into hell (Tatarimokke brings the kids to hell where they died). They arrive and Kagome disappears of Inuyasha's back, for she is also being sucked into hell. Mayu sits in the closet as the apartment burns, and realizes that she's reliving her death and like last time no one will come looking for her. At the hospital, Satoru wakes up and tells his mother to hurry and get Mayu from the closet. In hell, Kagome calls out to Mayu and tells he come with her. Suddenly, part of the floor falls and from it a chain starts to pull Mayu down to hell. Kagome grabs her hand and tells her make up with her mother who is very sad. Mayu remembers all the good things about her mother and she j admits that loves her mom and just wanted to make up with her mother. Just then Tatarimokke's chain breaks. Later on, Mayu's mom returns to the apartment and goes to the closet. Mayu's ghost then appears and apologizes and leaves. On a nearby rooftop, Inuyasha tells Kagome that what she did was very dangerous. A week later, Mayu appears outside Kagome's window in the goldfish yukata her mother made and thanks Kagome for what she did and returns to heaven. Back To Top Kagome skips out on cleaning duty with her friends, only to bump into Hojo (who surprise, surprise has another gift.) He asks her out to a movie on Saturday, which she accepts. As she returns to the Warring States Period, she asks Inuyasha if they'll she can go back on Saturday, he says she can because he doesn't know when Saturday is. Back in the past, Kagome, Inuyasha and a seasick Shippo are on boat in a river. Kagome enjoys the scenery and Shippo hangs by the edge of the boat while Inuyasha is extra bitter and asks Kagome is she senses any shards, which she doesn't. They then notice a huge spider web spread across the river banks. Then a girl falls from a nearby cliff after fending of a spider demon. Much to her dismay she's rescued by a half-demon, Inuyasha. The girl, Nazuna, explains that the spider demons have been around for awhile. Kagome offers to help Nazuna, but she refuses due to the youkai with her. She leaves by climbing up a vine on the cliff but falls off when the vine breaks. Kagome then offers to take her home. They arrive at her home, a large Buddhist temple, where they are greeted by a priest who has been taking care of Nazuna since her family was killed by spider demons. Reluctantly, Inuyasha accepts an invitation spend the night at the temple. After the sunsets, Inuyasha is very edgy. Shippo assumes that Inuyasha is afraid of spiders but Inuyasha tells him that he isn't and he'll sleep alone tonight, as he leaves he notices that they are surrounded by spider demons, who seem to have broken the barrier the priest claimed to put up. Nazuna frantically searches for the priest but is shocked to find him covered in webbing. Inuyasha takes out Tetsusaiga, but it doesn't transform to fight the demons. He fends them off a little but manages to get partially covered in webbing. He, Kagome, Myouga and Shippo run and find safety in the forest. When Kagome pulls the webbing from Inuyasha's head she's shocked to see that he has black hair! Myouga tells Kagome that Inuyasha looses his demon power whenever there is a new moon. Myouga didn't notice the new moon and is appalled that Inuyasha didn't tell him that it was. Kagome is also disappointed that Inuyasha didn't trust her enough to tell her about the new moon humanization. Inuyasha says that he doesn't trust anyone, which causes Kagome to cry. Shippo concludes that since he's the only demon left, he has to fight. However, Shippo is freaked when the bushes rustle due to a battered Nazuna approaching. Kagome then realizes that she left her bag, with the Shikon shards in it. Inuyasha then tells Kagome and Nazuna to stay where they are and he and Shippo will go and get the shards. Inuyasha gives Tetsusaiga to Kagome and heads off. At the temple, the priest reveals his true nature as a spider demon by stealing the Shikon shards from Kagome's bag. Inuyasha and Shippo show up in time to stop from eating all of shards. Shippo quickly retrieves the remaining shards but is pushed by the priest's extending arm. He then reveals his true self and transforms into a huge spider demon. He bites Inuyasha's shoulder while he is covered in freshly spat webbing. Kagome and Nazuna then show up. Nazuna is shocked to see that the priest was really the enemy. The priest spider shoots webbing but it doesn't reach Kagome and Nazuna due to Tetsusaiga's barrier. Kagome then sees Inuyasha, Priest-Spider tells her that he's injected Inuyasha with poison. Kagome then tearfully jumps up to save him, using Tetsusaiga's barrier to break the webbing holding Inuyasha up. She saves and the five (Kagome, Inuyasha, Shippo and Nazuna) find safety in a small room. Upon Myouga's suggestion, Kagome sticks Tetsusaiga in the door to keep the Priest-Spider or other spider demons from entering. Myouga sucks all the poison from Inuyasha's body. Inuyasha, however is still somewhat incapacitated, he wakes when Kagome wipes the sweat off his head. Inuyasha asks Kagome why she cried when she saved him, she tells him that she thought he would die. Inuyasha places his head on Kagome's lap to prop his head up. Inuyasha tells Kagome she smells nice and that he lied when he said she didn't. Kagome is touched, but the sentiment doesn't last long, Priest-Spider has surrounded the entire temple and smashes the roof in on the group's safe haven. Angered by this Nazuna picks up Tetsusaiga and attacks Priest-Spider, her attacks are futile as they do no harm to Priest-Spider. Inuyasha, with Tetsusaiga, then stands up to fight and Priest-Spider picks him up to finish him off. But the rising sun proves that won't happen as Inuyasha returns to himself and uses a transformed Tetsusaiga to kill the Priest-Spider and the other Demon-Spiders. Later that day, Nazuna thanks Inuyasha and the others as they sail down the river. On the boat, Shippo returns to sea-sickness. And Kagome realizes that since Inuyasha is back to his old self she shouldn't ask him about the whole "smelling good" thing. Second Version Thanks to Hbalk94@aol.com! It starts with Kagome in School, and she runs into Hojo. He invites her to the movies and she said yes. She relizes it is her first date. Hojo said He would pick her up at half past six, and Kagome got a worried look and said Oh No! the past is the problem. She ran home and Inuyasha was in her world. He jumped into the well with her, and she asked him if they would be back on time for her date and he said maybe. Then the scene changes to them on a boat. Shippo is really sea-sick, and Inuyasha is annoyed at Kagome for looking at fish instead of looking for shikon shards. Suddenly they come across some spider webs and Myoga asks what kind they are. Inuyasha said nothing to worry about. They looked up at the cliff when they heard a scream and a girl being attacked by a demon fell over the cliff. Inuyasha jumped up and caught her before she fell in the river, and when he got to land, she thanked him, but screamed when she relized Inuyasha was a demon. She smacked him and they both fell in the river. After they got out, Kagome was bandaging the girls arm, and a soaked Inuyasha was sitting and grumbling to himself. The girl said her name was Nazuna, and that she did not like being obliged to a demon. She thanked Kagome, and started to climb a vine, to the top of the cliff, but the vine broke and she hurt her ankle. Inuyasha carried her back to her village on his back. As soon as they got there, an old monk came out and asked Nazuna if she was okay. She jumped off Inuyasha and almost made him fall and said she had no choice but to have these demons help me get back. The monk told them about the demon that attacked Nazuna. It was a spider demon, and there was more attacking the village. He asked them to stay the night. Inuyasha agreed, and after they ate, they went to bed, but Inuyasha was being quiet, so Kagome asked what was wrong, and she asked Inuyasha if he was afraid of spiders, and he said no. Inuyasha went outside and relized they were surrounded by spider demons. They fought, but tetsaiga wouldn't transform for Inuyasha. The spiders shot a web at him and covered his head. As soon as they got away, Kagome tried to pull the web off Inuyasha, but he got mad and yelled Leave me alone. Kagome was surprised and pulled the web off, and saw Inuyasha's hair was black. Myoga told them that Inuyasha turned into a human on the night of the new moon. Myoga then asked why Inuyasha didn't tell them, and Inuyasha said because you would have run off a long time ago, but then Kagome got upset and said what you don't trust me either, so much for close friends. and Inuyasha yelled I don't trust anyone. Kagome was really upset and started to cry. Inuyash felt bad and said he was supposed to be down, not Kagome, and Kagome yelled at him and said grab a brain you dough head. Shippo ran behind Inuyasha as Nazuna came out of the bushes. She begged Inuyasha to help her and told them her master (the monk) had been killed by spider demons. Nazuna then told them why she hated demons, because they killed her parents, and the monk raised her. She then relized Inuyasha was a human. Kagome screamed and Inuyasha yelled what. Kagome told him she left her shikon jewel shards in her backpack, and the demons would get it. Inuyasha gave kagome tetsaiga to protect her, and grabbed Shippo and told Kagome and Nazuna to stay here. He was going with shippo to the temple. When he got there, the monk was a spider demon, and he was taking the shards out of Kagome's backpack.Inuyasha threw boards at the spider demon, and he dropped the shards, and shippo grabbed them. The spider grabbed Inuyasha and three shards that Shippo missed. He made a spider web, and Injected Inuyasha with poison. Kagome and Nazuna came and Kagome said your master tricked you. Nazuna was surprised. Kagome climbed up the web, and Inuyasha told her to run because he had no chance. Kagome jumped off at Inuyasha and broke the web with tetsaiga. Her and Inuyasha fell, and Nazuna, Shippo, and Kagome dragged Inuyasha into the back room. Myoga told Kagome to thrust the tetsaig into the door, and it would hold off the demon for awhile. Myoga sucked some poison out of Inuyasha. Inuyasha woke up, and asked Kagome why she was crying in the other room, and Kagome said because she was afraid Inuyasha was going to die. Inuyasha paused and said you cried for me? Kagome nodded. Inuyasha then asked Kagome if he could lay on her lap, and she said yes. Then he told Kagome she smelled kind of nice, and she said that he said he couldn't stand her smell, and he said he was lying. Kagome thought to herself that this had her heart pounding. Then the demon broke through and stole the shards Shippo had. He picked up Nazuna and she dropped tetsaiga, and Inuyasha caught it. The demon picked up Inuyasha and then the sun came up. He destroyed the demon with tetsaiga and got the shards back. They had fused together inside the demon and made a big piece. Nazuna said goodbye and thanked Inuyasha. Kagome remembered what Inuyasha said when he was laying on her lap. She decided to ask him if he liked her, but before she could, Inuyasha told her to stop staring, and she thought to herself, some things are better kept to myself. Shippo was seasick again, and Inuyasha said Shippo, demons dont get seasick, and Shippo said hey Inuyasha and then he got sick on inuyasha and Inuyasha got mad. Back To Top Under the light of the moon a blue flame flies through the skies and lands in Kaede's village and reveals itself as an old woman named Kijo Urasae Despite the efforts Kaede and the other villagers, she steals the urn containing Kikyo's ashes. Meanwhile, Inuyasha runs through the woods but is struck with an arrow through the heart by Kikyo. Inuyasha wakes and realizes that he was dreaming. Inuyasha gets off his tree and looks at a sleeping Kagome, she wakes up and sees this and slaps Inuyasha. He then notices Urasae flying with the moon behind her and he smells Kikyo's scent emanating off her. The next morning, Inuyasha, Kikyo and Shippo head back to the village and discover that Kikyo's ashes were stolen by Urasae. Later on, Inuyasha sits alone by tree and remembers that he also smelt the dirt from Kikyo's grave off of Urasae. Kagome approaches and asks Inuyasha why he hasn't looked in the face the whole day, she assumes it's because she looks like Kikyo and he hates her, Inuyasha tells her that it isn't because of that. He looks at Kagome with odd loving eyes, which prompts Kagome to push him away. Kaede walks up with a horse and asks Inuyasha what direction he saw Urasae flying towards because she's going to go after Urasae since Inuyasha refused. Inuyasha tells her that it's a stupid thing to do and he'll go. Kagome, Kaede and Shippo follow along. On the way there, Kagome realizes that Inuyasha didn't hate Kikyo, he loved her. She also figures that it was a one-sided love meaning Kikyo didn't love him back. Meanwhile at Urasae's place, a new Kikyo is born. Urasae is pleased that now she can use Kikyo to find all the Shikon shards. Much to Urasae's dismay it's just an empty shell that looks like Kikyo because her (Kikyo) soul hasn't returned to her body because it has already been reborn in another. As Kagome, Shippo, Inuyasha and Kaede near Urasae's place they notice many large mud dolls scattered about. When the four reach the middle a long bridge to cross before reaching Urasae they noticed they've become surrounded by mud dolls, which crack open to reveal Urasae's Faceless Minions. Which are easily defeated but are very numerous in amount. The noise of the battle alerts the angry Urasae, who checks out the battle with her trust sickle in hand. She reaches the bridge and sees Kagome who she instantly recognizes as Kikyo's reincarnation. Urasae cuts the bridge in half sending Inuyasha, Kaede, Shippo and the faceless minions falling, but not Kagome. For Kagome is picked up by Urasae and is informed of her fate, to have her soul bring Kikyo to life! Back To Top Inuyasha fall as to the bottom of the ravine and lands on the minions, but he is soon landed on by Kaede and Shippo who are riding on Shippo's leaf. The three get up and so do the minions. Inuyasha defeats them with Tetsusaiga. From the remains souls rise up, revealing that Urasae uses the bones of others to make her minions. After Inuyasha is informed of Kagome's abduction, he takes off (with Shippo and Kaede). Meanwhile, Urasae places Kagome in a tub of herbs and a green liquid. Kikyo approaches fully dressed and Urasae prepares for the transfer of souls. Eventually Kagome's soul starts to leave her. Inuyasha and the others arrive on the scene. Inadvertently, Inuyasha completes the process by calling out Kikyo's name. With here soul returned, Kikyo is back to herself. Her action is killing Urasae by zapping her with pink energy from her hands. She is shocked to see Inuyasha alive and kicking. Suddenly, Kikyo's mortal wound returns and she asks Inuyasha why he betrayed her and gave this wound. Inuyasha is baffled by Kikyo's accusation and denies that ever attacked her. Kikyo doesn't want to listen to anymore lies, she's heard enough especially since the "lie" Inuyasha said 50 years ago is the one that caused this all to happen. Kikyo explains that she was foolish to believe that Inuyasha ever wanted to be human with the help of the jewel. Kikyo flashes to when Inuyasha attacked her and stole the jewel from her and remembers him telling that he just wanted the jewel to be demon. Kikyo then approached Inuyasha and zaps him like she did to Urasae. As Shippo tends to Kagome he asks Kaede how long Kagome will be like this. Kaede explains that she will until Kikyo's soul has achieved it's revenge. Kikyo tells Inuyasha that she hates him. Kikyo uses one of Kaede's arrows and shoots at Inuyasha, who avoids the arrow. Despite Kaede's efforts, Kikyo takes the remaining arrows to use against Inuyasha. She fires one more, which Inuyasha blocks with Tetsusaiga. However the arrow causes Tetsusaiga to transform to rust mode and strikes Inuyasha in the chest. This action, much to Kikyo's dismay, causes Kagome to reclaim her soul. Despite that fact, Kikyo is still mobile and walks away to avoid the rest of her soul being removed. Inuyasha chases after her. Kikyo reaches a cliff and falls off, but is saved by Inuyasha. Kikyo zaps his and tells Inuyasha that if she dies, she'll take Inuyasha with her! The zap weakens Inuyasha's grip and causes him to drop Kikyo sending plummeting below. Inuyasha remembers that Kikyo used to always protect jewel from various demons. But despite the fact that Inuyasha would constantly attempt to take the jewel (to be a full demon), she'd never kill him. Inuyasha and Kikyo soon became, in a way, friends. Kikyo told Inuyasha that he could also use the jewel to be human, Inuyasha agrees. Then when he went to get the jewel, Kikyo betrayed him. But Kikyo says that he betrayed him, which Inuyasha is just confused about. Back To Top As Kagome and Shippo drink from a stream, Inuyasha stares off into space (which according to Kagome he's been doing a lot lately) and thinks about Kikyo. Elsewhere, a monk, Miroku, goes to a roadside rest stop and hears a rumor about a girl at a local manor who's supposedly sick but a demon might be involved. Miroku heads to the manor and sees what he can do about the girl. While exorcising the room a weasel demon appears and Miroku notices a Shikon shard on the demon, Miroku beats the demon and takes the Shikon shard and the lord of the manor's treasures. That night while Miroku bathes in a hot water spring and notices a girl with a huge Shikon shard around her neck bathing in the other side of the spring. That girl happens to be Kagome. Miroku plans to take the shard then and there but when he notices that Kagome isn't alone he realizes that he'll have to find another way to get the shards. The next day Miroku uses the help of his raccoon-dog friend to distract Inuyasha and Shippo while he takes the shards from Kagome. But just as Inuyasha is about to kill the raccoon-dog, Miroku takes the cloth off his right hand and a powerful vortex starts sucking Inuyasha towards, ending his attack. Miroku takes off with the Shikon shard and Kagome's bike. Inuyasha (with Kagome and Shippo on his back) follows Miroku's scent to a nearby town. Inuyasha and Miroku clash. When Inuyasha strikes with Tetsusaiga, Miroku easily blocks with his staff. When Inuyasha eventually knocks Miroku's staff from his hands, Miroku warns the on looking townspeople to run away. Miroku leads Inuyasha away from the town and removes the cloth from his right hand and opens the air void (it's like a black hole), which starts sucking everything into it. To prevent Inuyasha from being sucked in, Kagome jumps in the path of the air void. Miroku stops to prevent an innocent bystander from being sucked into the void. Kagome lands on Miroku (since she was in midair when Miroku sealed the void) and is glad to know that her assumption of Miroku being a nice person was correct. However, she soon discovers that he isn't all good as he rubs her butt. Miroku explains that he's looking for the Shikon shards to kill a powerful demon named Naraku. Miroku explains that Naraku has the ability to shape shift and he used it to trick his grandfather 50 years ago. In their final battle, Naraku sent Miroku's grandfather's spell scrolls back at him and they caused the air void to form in his right hand. Naraku then curses Miroku's line by stating that the air void with eventually suck the bearer up and will passed from generation to generation until the whole line disappears unless he can manage to kill him. Miroku then goes on to explain that 50 years ago Naraku was tries to steal the Shikon no Tama from the priestess that was guarding it, but only managed to injure her. This perks Inuyasha's attention and he realizes that Naraku took his shape and fatally wounded Kikyo. Inuyasha then vows to kill Naraku for what he did to him and Kikyo. Kagome invites Miroku to travel with them gathering Shikon shards since if they keep collecting Shikon shards they're bound to run into Naraku. Miroku then asks Kagome to bear his child so if he dies, his family's mission can be carried on. Kagome refuses and Inuyasha gets irritated that Miroku would ask such a question. Back To Top A group of warriors chase after a painter, Koutatsu, in the middle of the night for his Shikon shard. However Koutatsu awakens some demons from one of his paintings. The demons kill the warriors and drink their blood. The next day, Kagome, Inuyasha, Shippo and Miroku stumble across the remains of the warriors. Miroku figures that a Shikon shard must be involved. He and Inuyasha then get in a little argument and Miroku decides to go and look for Shikon shards on his own. After sniffing the ink of a letter a nearby traveler was carrying, Inuyasha tells Kagome and Shippo that he smelt ink by the corpses. Meanwhile, Koutatsu is thrown out of a manor after claiming to be the son of a powerful man, when he's just a painter. The guards start to beat him up but they stop when the Princess tells them to show mercy. The guards then wrap Koutatsu in a rug and throw him into a river. After Koutatsu gets out of the river, he eventually runs into Inuyasha who happens to smell ink *and* blood on him. Koutatsu escapes after he summons a giant ogre from a painting. Inuyasha easily deposes of it with Tetsusaiga. However the ink that remain knocks Inuyasha out due to its strong odor. That night, Miroku arrives at the manor that Koutatsu was kicked out of and claims to sense an evil aura (so he can get a room for the night) but as soon as the guards turn him away, hordes of demons from Koutatsu's painting attack. Miroku rushes to save the princess, but the demons soon disappear due to Koutatsu yelling "stop" in a dreaming involving the princess who became a demon. Kagome, Inuyasha and Shippo arrive at manor as Miroku enjoys his "Thank-You" dinner. The three pull him aside. Kagome tells him about the painter and that he has a Shikon shard. She also reveals that Miroku has three Shikon shards with him. The guards overhear this and tell their lord about the Shikon shards. Having hear rumors about the Shikon no Tama, the lord orders them to take the shards from Miroku while he leads a group of men to take the shard Koutatsu has. Miroku sabotages the guards attempt to take the Shikon shards (and his life!) only to discover that the lord is leading a campaign to gain Koutatsu's shard. Inuyasha, Kagome and Shippo follow Miroku to Koutatsu's to prevent the lord and his men from dying at the hands of Koutatsu's ink demons. Inuyasha, Kagome and Shippo are the first to arrive at the scene. Using Tetsusaiga, Inuyasha destroys many Ink Demons. The rest are taken care of by Miroku who uses his Air Void to suck them up. Koutatsu is surprised to see his creations gone so he takes off on an Ink Dragon. Inuyasha climbs up the dragon and cuts open the bamboo ink container (the Shikon shard is in it). The ink dragon dissipates and the ink goes everywhere. In order to keep his ink, Koutatsu cuts open his arm to attract the ink. The ink enters his arm and drains all his blood, killing him, leaving only the Shikon shard and a puddle of ink. Miroku senses a strong evil from the shard which is purified when Kagome picks it up. The next day, Miroku is once again traveling with Kagome. Miroku comments to Kagome that Inuyasha is actually a nice guy because he didn't kill Koutatsu when he had the chance to. Back To Top An unfortunate group of warriors run into Sesshomaru, who tries out his new arm on them thus killing them. Jaken in pleased with the arm's results, while Sesshomaru isn't. Sesshomaru tells Jaken to get him another arm. Jaken blames Inuyasha for this whole ordeal. The two are then approached by a man in baboon fur. The man tells Sesshomaru that he to hates Inuyasha. The man gives Sesshomaru a human arm with a Shikon shard (so he can wield Tetsusaiga) and a hive of poisonous bees (to poison Miroku, if he uses his Air Void). Sesshomaru asks the man whet his name is, he tells him it's Naraku! Meanwhile, Miroku lying about evil spirits inhabiting a nearby mansion scores Kagome, Shippo and Inuyasha a roof to sleep under. Their fun is soon spoiled when a large demon approaches and Kagome senses a Shikon shard quickly approaching. The four rush to the shard and are shocked to see Sesshomaru on top of the demon. Sesshomaru jumps down towards Inuyasha. He demands that Inuyasha hand over Tetsusaiga. Kagome explains to Miroku that Sesshomaru is Inuyasha's older brother. Back to the battle, Inuyasha takes out Tetsusaiga and attacks Sesshomaru, however Sesshomaru grabs Inuyasha's wrist with his poison claw and starts melting his arm. Inuyasha uses his other hand to break Sesshomaru's grip and attacks again. Sesshomaru eventually gets his human hand on Tetsusaiga. He commands Jaken to awaken all the demons on the mountain. Jaken has large demon slam his hand on the mountain, waking hundreds of Demons. With one swing, Sesshomaru kills all the demons and takes a chunk of the mountain with them. Miroku decides its time for him to step up. Miroku opens the air void and starts sucking the large demon in. Sesshomaru decides that it's time for him to use the bees. The bees come out of the hive and fly into Miroku's air void. Miroku feels their poison instantly and closes the void. Kagome runs to the manor to get Miroku some medicine. Shippo and Inuyasha take out a bunch of the bees. After his "Blades of Blood" fail to do any damage to Sesshomaru, Inuyasha takes Miroku and Shippo and they hide behind the corpse of the large demon (half of his body was sucked in by the Air Void). Sesshomaru uses Tetsusaiga and destroys the corpse. Sesshomaru then attacks Inuyasha with Tetsusaiga, but his attempt is blocked with Tetsusaiga's sheath. Jaken is then attacked by Miroku who asks him how he got those bees which seem to be made specially for him. To avoid answering that, Jaken uses his Staff of Heads and shoots fire at Miroku and Shippo. Sesshomaru continues to attack Inuyasha, who blocks Tetsusaiga with its sheath, but that is soon knocked away. Just as Sesshomaru is about to move in for the kill, Tetsusaiga's transformation is broken due to an arrow that Kagome shot. She tells Inuyasha to run and warns Sesshomaru that she is her next target. Back To Top Kagome tells Sesshomaru that she'll fire at his left arm (to get the Shikon shard) and when she fires, Sesshomaru dodges and attacks Kagome. Inuyasha saves Kagome and tells her to go and take care of Miroku and she does. Inuyasha attacks Sesshomaru. After giving Miroku his medicine, Kagome fires an arrow at Sesshomaru, breaking the armor on his left arm. However the next arrow she fires is caught by Sesshomaru who melts it. Sesshomaru uses Tetsusaiga to attack Kagome, who is once again saved by Inuyasha. Miroku beats up Jaken and finds out that Naraku gave them the bees and the arm. Miroku plans to open the air hole, again, but discovers that the bees are lying in wait for him to do just that. Inuyasha tells Miroku to take Kagome and run. He does, but before Sesshomaru can attack them with Tetsusaiga, Inuyasha grabs his arm, Sesshomaru then sticks his hand through Inuyasha's chest! Kagome wants to go back, but Miroku tells her not to. Inuyasha then rips off part of Sesshomaru's left arm, reclaiming Tetsusaiga. However, before he can attack with it, Inuyasha crouches to the ground, unconscious. As Jaken soon discovers, Inuyasha's guard is still up so if he or Sesshomaru try to take Tetsusaiga, they'll be blasted by Tetsusaiga. Sesshomaru realizes that he can't get Tetsusaiga and leaves. As he does the bees follow. Sesshomaru figures its to get the Shikon shard. As Sesshomaru goes to remove the shard he realizes that the Arm was slowly swallowing him up. Sesshomaru rips the arm of and the bees take the shard and return it to Naraku. Naraku is disappointed that Sesshomaru failed. Sesshomaru and Jaken then appear behind him. Jaken accuses Naraku of planning to have that arm swallow Sesshomaru. Naraku states that is was the only way he could be sure that he'd get his shard back. Sesshomaru cuts him in half, but it turns out to be just a baboon skin. Naraku's voice is then heard from the clouds and it tells Sesshomaru that if he comes with another plan to kill Inuyasha he let him know. Aboard Tanuki (Miroku's badger friend) , Miroku begins to feel better and Inuyasha just lays down, presumed asleep. Shippo fills Kagome about Naraku. She tells Shippo not to tell Inuyasha about Naraku until he's 100% so he doesn't go off to fight. Inuyasha lays down lamenting over that Naraku caused he and Kikyo to hate each other and then planned Sesshomaru's attack. Back at the village, Inuyasha takes Kagome to the well and tells her that now that Naraku has appeared they'll probably get into more dangerous situations. Kagome says that she knows. Inuyasha asks her if she was scared back there with Sesshomaru. She admits that she wasn't, Inuyasha confesses that when he though she was going to die, he was afraid. Inuyasha hugs Kagome and then pushes her down. And reveals that he stole the Shikon shard around her neck. He then pushes her down the well telling her she belongs in her own time. In the present, Kagome plans to go back to the past and give Inuyasha a piece of her mind, but discovers she can't because she has no Shikon shard! Back To Top Inuyasha throws a tree down the well to prevent Kagome from returning, much to Shippo's dismay. Inuyasha goes off to find Naraku, but Miroku stops him, asking him how he expects to find him. Miroku tells Inuyasha that they have to stop and think. Miroku comes to the conclusion that Naraku might have split Kikyo and Inuyasha up because Naraku was after Kikyo. Later on as Kaede seals Inuyasha's wound, she tells Inuyasha and Miroku that she's figured that whoever split up Inuyasha and Kikyo did so deliberately. In other words, when they could have just taken the Shikon shard from Kikyo and ran, they didn't, they made Kikyo hate Inuyasha and Inuyasha hate Kikyo. Kaede can only think of one person, at the time, who would do that, Onigumo. He was a thief that was burned and sessile (unable to move) and Kikyo took care of him. One day when Kaede was tending to Onigumo he told her that he wanted to see Kikyo corrupt the Shikon no Tama. Kaede tells the two that after the Inuyasha's sealing, she went to check up on Onigumo. But when she got to the cave she discovered that it was on fire, leaving Onigumo trapped within. She then takes Miroku and Inuyasha to the cave. Once there, they discover the spot were no foliage is growing is where Onigumo once laid. Miroku also senses a strong demonically evil aura from that spot. Meanwhile at the well, Shippo is attacked by a bunch of three-eyed wolves. In the present, Kagome returns to school and agrees to go on a date with Hojo. Inuyasha, Miroku and Kaede hear his cries for help and rush to save him. When they get there, they see that the once gentle guardian of the forest, Royakan, is how an evil incarnate who can spit out an infinite number of hell wolves. Off in the woods, Naraku sits on a tree branch admiring his plan. During the battle with the wolves, Inuyasha reopens his wound. Miroku then uses the Air Void on the wolves, but before he can get sucked up, Royakan runs off. That night, Kaede and Miroku seal Inuyasha and Shippo in a shed to give Inuyasha's wound enough time to heal. The two start chanting and keep the shed hidden from the view of a demon, so if Royakan attacks again he can't harm Inuyasha. Meanwhile, Naraku gives a frightened Royakan another Shikon shard, increasing his power. Royakan then attacks the village to find Inuyasha, but thanks to Kaede and Miroku, he can't see the shed with Inuyasha within it. It doesn't last for long, because Miroku breaks his chanting to save Kaede from an oncoming spear. With the barrier broken, Royakan attacks the shed destroying it. Now that he can leave, Inuyasha attacks Royakan. Royakan spews more wolves and now that Naraku's bees have joined the fight, Miroku is unable to open the Air Void. Royakan knocks Inuyasha back causing him to drop the large Shikon shard. But before Royakan can claim it, Shippo takes it and runs only to be chased by the wolves. Back To Top |
