Things begin to get complicated when Quent begins to hunt Kiba. When a young wolf named Toboe struggles to survive in the city, a young girl named Leara gives him food. Touched by her kindness, Toboe tries to become friends with her in his human form. Meanwhile, another wolf, Hige, finds the wounded Kiba locked in a police cage. Back To Top When Darcia kidnaps Cheza, Kiba and Hige follow only to have the enigmatic noble vanish in front of them. Meanwhile Toboe struggles with the gulf separating him and his new human friend Leara. When all is said and done is this city where the wolves will find Paradise? Back To Top The four wolves trek across the wasteland in their search for Paradise, but not all is well within the group. When Tsume decides that Paradise is a useless goal, Toboe follows him as he leaves the pack, only to find something very dangerous and destructive! Back To Top The road to Paradise leads the wolves to a ruined city, where they may have finally found what they are looking for. When they encounter an older pack of wolves it seems that this city isn't quite the place they'd hoped. Back To Top When Kiba is badly injured in a fight, it falls on the other three wolves to care for him. But when Hige is captured by a gang of humans, even the downtrodden Zali pitches in to rescue him. Meanwhile Hubb Lebowski asks Quent about the mysterious "Book of the Moon" Cher has left him. Back To Top Finally free of the rotten city, the wolves set out again for Paradise. When Cheza throws herself from Darcia's aircraft the wolves finally meet the Flower Maiden, but they quickly learn that they were not the only ones seeking her. Back To Top This Episode Summary was from Here and I do not want any credit. On the run with Cheza, the wolves meet an old woman in the forest with the same red eyes as the Flower Maiden. The old woman prophesizes doom if Cheza goes with the wolves. Meanwhile Cher's team moves closer and closer to finding them. While the wolves try to find a way to escape the town surrounded by soldiers, Kiba and Cheza discovers a fellow wolf in an unexpected place. Meanwhile Quent spots the wolves and hunts them, only to fin Blue injured from the soldiers. Can Quent choose between his loyalty to Blue and his thirst for revenge? Back To Top While Cher's soldiers search for Cheza, the wolves escort her through the menacing Forest of Death. Attacked by huge bugs and with Cheza in pain due to the lack of sunlight, the wolves must rely on a cryptic owl to guide them through the forest. Back To Top The noble Lord Orkham is given a prophesy of his own death. Meanwhile Hubb is arrested by the police while trying to locate Cher. Jaguara's troops clash with Orkham's in a battle that skews the political atmosphere completely. All the while Darcia closes in on Cheza. Back To Top With Cheza taken, the wounded wolves try to recover. When they spot several men chasing after them a female wolf they instantly rust to her defense. But who is this new wolf? Back To Top Quent, searching for Blue, and Lebowski, searching for Cher, hook up and take off in pursuit of their lost loves. Lebowski's dream comes true first; Cher appears and explains that the three of them have to head for Darcia's palace, or all is lost. Back To Top During a blizzard the rest of the wolves elect to wait it out while Kiba pushes ahead, determined to find Cheza. When Darcia confronts Kiba during an attack from Jaguara things could get ugly. What is Paradise anyway? Back To Top Tsume recounts the past events from his own point of view. Back To Top Hubb replays the events leading to this point from his own perspective. Back To Top When Kiba fails to rescue Cheza from Darcia's ship, the other wolves set out to find him. Meanwhile Kiba awakens in a desert oasis with a girl named Mew. The wolves encounter a bump in their search for the white wolf when they run into a village that has never lost their belief in wolves... Back To Top While Kiba dreams of Cheza and his friends, Tsume and Hige set out to find him, leaving Toboe in the village. But has Kiba already found Paradise? Back To Top The wolves are advised by a former enemy to search for Cheza at Jaguara's keep. Meanwhile at the keep Hubb, Cher, Cheza, and Blue are all prisoners. Can they escape from Jaguara's dungeons? Back To Top Quent manages to get ahold of an ID tag from a hostile man on a train full of refuges. Meanwhile in prison Hubb speaks to an old women who says that the time has finally come. The wolves continue their quest to find Cheza, but encounter a huge walrus. Is Toboe up to the challenge? Back To Top Everyone is coming to Jaguara's city. Meanwhile Jaguara is told that number twenty-three has returned and she reads a line from the Book of the Moon: the last wolf, hidden by moonlight, will lead her to Paradise. But why is Hige suddenly in so much pain? Back To Top An entire battalion of Jagara's armored troops falls to the powerful jaws of Kiba, who races up the stairs to interrupt Jagara's bizarre ritual to open the gates of Paradise. This could be bad, since Jagara only needs a Moon Flower and a wolf to get to Paradise, and he already has Cheza. Back To Top Dracia, wiping out the rest of Jagara's soldiers, arrives just in time to bring the ritual to a screeching halt. Apparently, Kiba's been defeated and hooked up to Jagara's Moonlight Engine, which slowly saps his blood in order to bring about the end of the world. Back To Top Kiba busts out of the Moonlight Engine and heads straight for Jagara's throat, which is ripped out about same time Darcia runs her through with a gigantic sword. Jagara's plans come crashing down along with her palace; the heroes, along with Cheza and Darcia, escape the crumbling ruins. Back To Top Jagara's unfinished Paradise plot has sent the world into an unstable rebirth cycle and it's up to Kiba and Cheza to reach the door to the true Paradise before it's too late. The race to the finish line claims its first life, as Cher is killed in a horrible car accident. The end is coming. Back To Top A huge explosion heralds the arrival of the wicked Darcia, still bent on claiming Paradise for himself. Remorseless, he guns down Toboe and Quent, who die in each other's arms. Darcia then throws down the gauntlet to Kiba, daring him to reach Paradise. Back To Top It's a slow crawl up the side of the mountain, the summit of which holds the gate to Paradise. Lebowski joins his ex-wife in death, plummeting to his doom after losing his grip. It's just the four wolves and Blue remaining, as Darcia makes his final crazed attempt to stop Kiba and Cheza from remaking the world. Back To Top Still after paradise, Darcia continues his onslaught on the wolves. Cheza fears that she is too much of a burden to Kiba and plunges of a cliff. Kiba darts after her saying that it wasn't all her fault. Kiba and Cheza arrive at a frozen lake, but there is no paradise. Blue confronts Kiba and tells him that this is all happening because of him and they have a quick fight. After Blue realizes her mistake, Darcia arrives and guns down Blue, who is protecting Kiba and Cheza. Kiba takes out Darcia and watches hims fall to the bottom of the frozen lake. Kiba limps over to Cheza and Cheza dies in Kiba's arms. Taking the single remaining lunar flower, Kiba limps as far a he can. As Kiba dozes off, the flower blooms and Kiba awakes in paradise. Satisfied, Kiba dozes off and drowns at the bottom of the lake. With one last glance, Kiba sees the red moon return to its normal color and dies as the world begins its rebirth. Back To Top |
